I filmed this launch at the Kennedy Space Center
I filmed this launch with my phone from the roof above my office on the operations and checkout building at the Kennedy Space Center. The building is about 3 air miles from the launch pad. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully completed a mission to deploy 143 spacecraft and satellites into orbit on Sunday, after which the rocket returned safely to a sea-based landing pad. During the time I worked there I got to film a few lunches.

Illusions - The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah by Richard Bach. Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah is a novel by writer and pilot Richard Bach. First published in 1977, the story questions the reader's view of reality, proposing that what we call reality is merely an illusion we create for learning and enjoyment.

Flying a dead end street like Superman
Throughout my life, this is always one i come back to.
I've been looking for this book! My grandma had it and I read it before I fully had the reading comprehension as a teen. So glad to find it again!
I have read this book more times then any other book and every single time there always seems to be something different from the last read
I read for the first time when I was 18th and I loved it!
I’m leaving for the military in about another month my mentor gave me this book and told me to read it before I go she said it would help…..
A tip that I wish to impart to you: don't read it all at once, but section by section, so that you can have time to "digest" and better understand what is being said. I find it to be a very philosophical read, myself, and it challenged the way in which I looked at the world during a very dark and trying time. It got me away from the dogma of religion, and made me think in ways that were healthier for me at the time. Thank you for your service! My father was in the military, and he retired with his full 20 years, so here's hoping that you find your calling in it and can do the same!
The author makes a lot of interesting points, even without meaning to. For example, he points out the limits and shortcomings of earthly saviors. He mostly seems to be familiar with the basics of the Jesus story, which the modern-day "savior" can't measure up to due to human shortcomings. Instead, the "savior" seems to just use his superpowers to please himself. It's essentially what any mere human being would do in that position.
:-)
Jon Liv C gull was the first book I read from cover to cover in one sitting. I just couldn't put it down 'till I finished. I was in my early 20s w no job, didn't finish HS and no prospects for the future. But somehow i found my path and managed to build a life w/ a Gr8 woman and now retired @ 79 w/ 2 wonderful grown adult children and 5 gran kids & 1 gr8 grandson. The road has been a bit rocky & bumpy at times, however, I wouldn't change a thing about it. I try to follow 3 simple rules for a joyful and happy existence. 1 Be Nice, 2 Do Good, and 3 Don't Harm... Not always an easy task, but w/ a little practice anything can be accomplished... Last year I learned to solve the 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 Rubik's Cube. Not bad for an old boy from So Cen Los Angeles...... I also love R. Kipling's "Thy Servant a Dog" and "Gunga Din" as well...
I read this when I was 16. I'm now 45. This is only my second time for this book
And Jesus said, “Is it not written in your law I have said you are gods, all of you sons of the most high,…” John 10:34
I read this book in my native language (Hungarian) about 23 years ago-and it changed my view about the world instantly. I've been rereading it many times in English and in Hungarian also - always giving me support when I felt lost in the big world. That's the first time I'm listening it as an audibook but I feel like I know every line of it :) thanks for sharing it here. My next whish: It would be nice to see this book as a movie :)
I have been reading and or listening to this book since I was six years old. It helps me fall asleep. Each time I listen to it, I understand it a little more than the last. I am 14 now and still not bored of this masterpiece. Thank you 🙏 ☺️
What has the book taugt you? Wild you are so young good for you.
@@saintstorm7 thanks! I don’t think there are even words for what this book teaches 🤍
45 years after first reading this book, and what a delight to have Richard read it to me. This book meant so much to me in 1979, it was as if someone put words to the "higher thoughts" that were tucked away in my mind, waiting for me to rediscover them in this current incarnation.... I bought copies for 3 or 4 of my closest friends...when I asked them what they thought, I got answers like; "uh, interesting...let's go play hackey-sack" I guess their "higher thoughts" were to remain tucked away for a little while longer. That's ok, they were and are all wonderful humans and friends to this day
It’s the same for me. I have given away books in the past believing that they would be voraciously consumed…but not even a peep from those I gave it to. I guess they were not ready….and that’s ok too 😊👍🏽
Observation of Quantum Objects The act of observation is a topic of considerable discussion in quantum physics. Early in the field, scientists were baffled to find that simply observing an experiment influenced the outcome. For example, an electron acted like a wave when not observed, but the act of observing it caused the wave to collapse (or, more accurately, "decohere") and the electron to behave instead like a particle. Scientists now appreciate that the term "observation" is misleading in this context, suggesting that consciousness is involved. Instead, "measurement" better describes the effect, in which a change in outcome may be caused by the interaction between the quantum phenomenon and the external environment, including the device used to measure the phenomenon. Even this connection has caveats, though, and a full understanding of the relationship between measurement and outcome is still needed.
This book has gotten me through the worst of times....
This book changed my life when I first read it, many many moons ago. Confirming what I knew to be true. And encouraging me to play with the “realities” of this earth space time. Oh what fun. Thank you for the audiobook version. Since a brain injury a few years ago I have been unable to read books and this is the only audiobook of yours I have been able to find. Much needed to help me get back to me.

I always loved the thought of using the power of earth, air, fire, and water to live a long and healthy life.
I might be mixing my Bach books. I believe it was from Bridge Across Forever. Hey, it's only been 40 years
Thank you for sharing ❤
You are so welcome
I read it for the first time years, many years ago in a different language and a different life and still it stirs healing and deep knowing. Thank you!
I swear by my life and my love for it, that I will never live for the sake of another man - nor ask another man to live for mine.
Exactly- I always knew that Ayn Rand had the same idea, except that she shunned all spiritual concepts, and was too focused on the materialistic world. She got so close to the truth and yet died miserably, as she probably chose to do in that lifetime

There is a tiny bit here that is less than the perfection claimed to be presented. Everyone has a moral compass whether they deny it or don't. You who has achieved a belief he knows enlightenment should not hurt a person. You dont have to save the world like a messiah. But do not add a oz of weight on the negative side of the scale. The darkest amongst us misuse this knowledge to completely lose themself from a high point that took many lives. By not seeing that you will not go past a certain stall before the peaks you seek. This is not about satanism. But do what thou wilt is there favorite saying. Its disgusting. Its not, do what thou wilt, the whole of the law. I prefer. Doubt will do that, Its the hole in the wall. If you believe that only you alone is the most high in your current status as not having achieved the JLseagill golden evaporation are still in form. This is the final lesson. Self governance. For what it is a man to gain the whole world only to lose his soul. Power does not have to corrupt. That is a lie. You are not in the base reality w the nobles. We are still in a lovely prison camp school. Be grateful and learn something. To make it all the wah thru to the god head you must see this or you will not make it. What thou willed already was this broken world. Its imperferctions are a reflection of our current lack of understanding. Do do what though knows is best. The real wisdom is simple as the golden rule.
what a treasure
I'm sitting in a parking lot having a breakdown. Something in this book has moved me deeply. I haven't cried in years. Don't worry, it's cathartic. 🥲
Are you choosing a new movie?
I get it 😊
I'm remembering that I'm the one watching the movie. The Me had been submerged for awhile. This book always brings me back. I've been rereading every few years for 25-30 years. I gave it as a Groom gift to all my Groomsmen at my wedding.
هذا جميل جدا لسماعه. شكرا 1:19 لتقاسم هذه. 🎀
wonderful
Thank YOU, IS!
Thank you for this I will listen to it today while working
You Can do It - Ricky Bobbys father
I just finished reading the book and this is awesome!Reaffirms it all! Thank You 💜😃
Thank you for uploading this for me to find ❤
Hi , I read the book many years ago when I had no idea about quantum physics . I am reading Illusions again and now feel that it has got a lot to do with it. Cheers!
I try to see the world as fields, but it's hard to get past the illusion of solidity. Lol😂
Meditate on zero. As a symbol of the monad. tthink non linear time. You will realize math outside of the omega is an illusion. Hence the Messiah most know saying he is the alpha and the omega. Begging and end. When you logically see all math is theoretical is when the wall will become part of the illusion. Like neo seeing the green screen codes. Zero point gravity proves this is beyond theory@@Coddiwomple1
So i read it also and never thought quantum mechanics, just spiritual
It's both and more. ❤
