This video starts just north of Surveyor Island and shows how to run the sometimes confusing channel to the Kettle Falls Hotel. Going this direction the red markers are on the right hand (starboard) side of the boat. My video that shows traveling north on the Kettle River is a little more clear and easier to see the colors of the markers.

This starts at the first green marker after coming out of the no-wake zone after leaving the Kettle Falls Hotel docks. This river channel can be confusing since it meanders and twists around. Going this direction (North) keep the red markers on your left (port) side. The video ends just past Surveyor Island. The dog's name is Cleo.

Repowered a Hurricane deck boat with a 2018 150 Evinrude Etech.. In this video Uflex shift/throttle cables have now been installed replacing the OEM cables which were even more sticky than this. This video I hope helps someone who desires a temp gauge on their outboard. Video production qualities are lacking but hopefully viewers will get the idea. I ended up putting some epoxy on the sender button to hold it in place on the sender bracket.

Thanks for the info. I have an older 90hp evinrude and it's a great motor, but it overheated last fall and I couldn't hear the stupid little buzzer in the shifter going off with the motor running. I put a new water pump and thermostat in it but it's nice to know there's a simple way to monitor head temp constantly. Getting one today. Did the sensor itself stay attached to the metal tab? Thanks again

Where can I get the sender? I found the gauge in the walmart website but it looks like it doesn't come with the sender.

You could add a dab of thermal adhesive to the bottom of that temp sender. Same stuff they use to glue led chips to aluminum heat sinks.

It's been a while since you fix it, how does the JB weld held?
I sold the pontoon about 6 months after the repair but it held until then.
Your getting water jacket temp not head temp. You are not getting a true reading
This is not intended as a true temp reading. Just a point of reference so you can tell when the engine is at full operating temp and tell if engine starts going above that temp (overheating).
I guarantee it'll show a temperature rise at anything above normal .....thats the goal....I'd rather see it on the dash creeping up above "normal" than to wait on that may work buzzer....😂😅

Part number for the whole assy is at the start of the video. 13009. Sending unit itself is probably not sold separately.

Did the welder weld patches or just braze them
The welder would have used patches but that was much too expensive. I used JB Weld putty for larger holes, then JB weld epoxy for smaller holes then topped the whole job with Gluvit.
