This team makes me cry every God damn year. It's devolved the last two years to me playing "Hello" by Adele and angry, ugly crying in my living room by myself every time they get eliminated after a spectacular regular season. I love a team that doesn't love me back and wouldn't piss on me if I were on fire and it makes me a terrible human being.
Over the years, I've seen this team blow leads, get smoked and fail to show up in the playoffs. After that 2023 playoff exit though, I realized that this team are nothing but soft as baby shit regular season warriors that just can't rise up in the big moments. This team always crashes and burns in the most spectacular ways possible, but 2023 redefined it. Getting knocked out in the first round that season pisses me off more than anything. Being a Bruins fan makes me a terrible human being.

Seeing the clips from 2019 breaks my heart. We were absolutely robbed by the referees ngl
Only in game five really. There was absolutely nothing the refs did that cost us game seven. The Bruins completely fell on their faces and choked like they always do. It was nothing but a typical, Thursday night mid February loss coming off a big road win. The only difference was that it was in game seven of the finals. They always pick the most inopportune times to play their worst hockey. We absolutely deserved to lose that series.

4:18 this moment defined a series and a players legacy, even tho we lost we had one of the toughest guys ever to wear the spoked-B and wired his own jaw shut just so he had a chance to help his team succeed. unreal moment
It's a damn shame that the rest of the team couldn't get it up for him. Sometimes I think that only him and Bergeron were the only ones who got it.

The bruins are used to playing with physical strong players like chara, Lucic, and Bergeron. Now they have none of them so when the other team talks shit no one can answer. The bruins have gone from classic hockey to focusing on skill in like 3 years
I mean Fredric and Macavoy are also physical but that’s about it and they’re not like Lucic or Chara
Ever since Don Sweeney arrived. He turned the big bad Bruins into the wimps, like he was.
We needed Bertuzzi back. We need the physicality. That's what made Boston Boston
Disagree. Skill complimented with strength. Our D have always been huge and still are. Brazeau, Marchand, Frederic, coyle and even zacha is a monster. Plus now kastelic, max Jones and zadorov on D. They will run the Atlantic.

That intro was so great but so sad with bergy, krejci, etc. And my god we were so freaking stacked last year with bertuzzi, orlov, etc. Really tears me up knowing how much talent was on the roster and that was the way that bergy ended his career. Damn, some may have forgotten based on how the Bruins exceeded expectations this year but the offseason was absolutely depressing, barely any shed of happiness from game 7 to the start of the new season
And they did it without Bergeron and Krejci. If they win at least this round against Toronto, the new core has the chance to compete for a cup in the future.
