The band with no Name
My friends and I have been jamming in Mic's house for a year or so, finally plucked up the courage to "go public" last week at an open mic night at andreous bistro, turned into a great night with a good few acts doing there stuff, here's a wee edit i made, hope you enjoy.
Probably gonna have to get ourselves a name,,,,, hadn't really thought of that before we went down, to be fair we never intended to be one, we were just jamming, something i've never really done in all the time ive played. Actually feel like its made me a "slightly" better guitarist, funny that, practacing actually makes you better at something.
Anyway, i'm off to practice some more....

Loch Brandy september 22

Loch Brandy is a superb example of a mountain corrie, backed by craggy slopes and cradling a perfect loch. The walk has the benefit of a very well constructed path making this a good short and relatively easy hillwalk. Me and the missus took the dog up for a wander on a fine september afternoon.

Last ever launch of a lifeboat off a slip in arbroath / scotland, the RNLB INCHCAPE made her final journey today, sent off with a big crowd of locals and left the harbour with a gaurd of honour from the local firefighters and other lifeboats

Recently learnt about trigbagging, i'd always seen the concrete pillars at the top of hills i'd climbed but had no idea there was as many of them as there is, and several of them very close to where i stay, Arbroath. My nephew, myself and my mate John took our bannana boats(otherwise known as the intex explorer) down the South Esk here in Scotland. Nice gentle ride through some beautiful countryside, loads of wildlife including fish jumpin, deer, pheasents and buzzards. How did they turn out? I've just started rock tumbling and want to try tumbling some local-ish pebbles 😊
I’d highly recommend well fitted buoyancy aids and the wearing of paddling specific helmets for river trips. Happy paddling.

Nice one dude its very addictive where did you launch from have you tried lunan water? Easy access along the wooden path
no i haven't, but its next on the list for a local paddle, was thinking about launching from kinnel bridge down to the beach,,,,, on the esk we launched at tannadice church, theres a wee road beside it that takes you down to the waters edge
@phil petrie there is a weir before the beach and we only got about a mile up from that as there were tress down across the water but still a good we paddle not been brave enough to attempt the surf that always seems to be there when we visit though
