i'd just like to point out that i never said they were bad, yeah it is really cool, but i was just saying that it's probably a fair bit easier to learn than it looks. Also my uncle has a 320ish hp malibu, it has a slightly faster top speed than our 140, but that's true, not significantly faster

The 140 hp outboard is geared and propped to go faster (top end) than the 320 hp inboard, the inboard engines are geared for torque, not speed. Even a novice skier knows that, give them a break the tricks they're pulling are awesome any way you look at it.
