Enjoyed your Santa training video presentation. Happy holidays.
Thank you for watching! Happy Holidays to you as well!

The only way I could do that would have been if you had been here for me and you
Cool thanks for letting us
Glad you liked it!
i almost pooped
Thanks for watching!
Hi Norm! We have been looking all day for the cemetery, we cant seem to find it. We found the upper portal and alot of the foundations in the lower but cant find the cemetery. Any guidance?
It's a few kilometers east of the Miette Mountain cabins along the first major ridge you can see from the highway. Hope you find it!
@@jaspersmoustachedmountaing5180 Thanks Norm, we will try to find it next time we are in jasper. we spent a few days around the old brule mine as well and dident cover it all so will have to go back there to!
God bless you Morgan, Fly high Lovey, Thank you for your service. 😢 xxx
I was in Europe when this happened, and could only get information by You Tube which was very spotty. I'm very sorry to hear this happened to one of my favourite places in the world. I'm glad the initial evacuation was successful. Was sorry to learn a firefighter later lost his life fighting the fires. You were in my thoughts, and I glad you are safe. I look forward to you explaining the rebirth of this unique location.
Thanks for your kind words, Jim. There has been a lot of destruction, and we mourn the loss of a young firefighter, Morgan Kitchen. But we will rebuild and nature will take care of its own restoration. Many of the animals have already returned to the area. And residents can start returning as early as this Friday, Aug 16th. I will certainly be in the Park keeping everyone updated on our progress! -Norm
It broke my heart the night the fire hit town and they had to pull the responders out, I feared the worst. I am so grateful that they were able to save so much of the town and area, they really did an amazing job.
Rip Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice for others
Thanks for this video Norm
You are a hero Morgan! Ty for your service brave young man
May his spirit journey be swift and true ❤️
❤❤❤❤
Aren't they adorable?

Thanks for stopping by!
John and I were horrified to learn of the fires, 😢 We are so sorry Norm….. We have travelled to over 44 countries across the world and Canada 🇨🇦 is the most beautiful one of them all, we were lucky enough to meet you too Norm. Thank you for being you….. It’s a heartbreaking experience but you still have the rest of the National Park and Banff National Park and Jasper will grow and be beautiful again. ❤ Xxx
Thank you so much for reaching out, I appreciate your kindness. The fire damage is absolutely devastating, but we are so blessed that no one was hurt, everyone was evacuated to safety in time! We will rebuild the town and nature will take care of the rest! Parks Canada has already documented many animals returning to the area. Some of the tree species in the forest actually need fire to open seed pods for new trees to grow, and the fireweed and berries will be plentiful in a few years. You are right - Jasper will be beautiful again!!
Hope everyone, creatures great and small are well. So sad on hearing this news last week 💔 😢
We know everyone was evacuated safely. And Parks Canada has started photographing the animals returning to the area. Hopefully, many of us will be able to return home soon!
Jasper where? Jasper, tx? There are 13 states with a town named Jasper
Jasper, Alberta in Jasper National Park, Canada.
Yee Haw brother, the town of Jasper will rise again!
Absolutely it will! We will build it again stone by stone. #JasperStrong
I’m named after this park!!!
That's quite an honor - it's an extraordinary place and one of the most beautiful parks on earth, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing! #JasperStrong
Now Jasper Alberta has been hit with terrible Fires. I hope and pray that ALL of the Wildlife got away <3 <3 <3
Parks Canada has already documented bears, elk, and deer moving through the Jasper townsite. One mama grizzly and her cubs found a safe spot down by the river during the fire and are back to their regular feeding spots near Jasper Park Lodge. Life will find a way! -Norm
Hey Norm I somehow lost your number, I hope this message finds you safe enlight of those fires. Praying for all the people in Jasper.
Thank you kindly! I was in Banff wrapping up a Jasper-to-Banff tour when the evacuation order came in. My family, friends and co-workers all made it out of town safely. And my wife and I are currently staying with family south of Edmonton. Appreciate those prayers!
Praying for Jasper 🙏 🏔️💕
Thank you so much! Every prayer helps make us stronger!
My heart is broken knowing that Jasper township and National Park have been hit by wildlife’s. I was there last year and it truly is heaven on earth. You and yours are in my heart Norm. You were a big part of my lovely stay in Jasper. 💔
Thank you so much! The fire damage is devastating, but the land will heal and we will rebuild. Come back and see us again in a few years. Jasper Strong!
@@jaspersmoustachedmountaing5180 I love your positive outlook. I will be back. I’m heading to Whistler this September. I’m really looking forward to being back in the country I love to much.
Hoping you’re safe somewhere
Yes I am, thank you! Safe with family waiting for news on when we can return and start rebuilding. #JasperStrong
My husband John and I love your longer videos Norm, Any chance you could do one about Lake Miligne…..the history and the boat trip please…. T I A ❤😊😘 xxx
Maligne Lake is gorgeous! Have you already seen this one about Maligne Lake? ruclips.net/video/zg0RzCcHL3w/видео.html It is also mentioned in the Top 10 Picnic Sites video ruclips.net/video/PkP5UIGeoWQ/видео.html and has a brief mention in Spooky Waters ruclips.net/video/tTdwMFtq-GY/видео.html
@@jaspersmoustachedmountaing5180 Looks like I had seen this video, I’d just forgotten, 🤦🏼♀️ but it was lovely to see it again, Thank you for your guidance… 😘 it’s just beautiful, in my opinion much prettier than Lake Louise, although that’s lovely too…. We’ve been to 44 countries, but Canada has to be the most welcoming, beautiful country we’ve ever been too. Xxx 😘
@@amandajill3625 We are very blessed to live in a such a beautiful part of this world! So happy you feel welcome here and have had a chance to enjoy the incredible scenery!
As always, I learn history told in a most entertaining manner.
Good to hear from you, Jim! Thanks for watching. -Norm
Love your content and the enthusiasm you show Norm-
Thank you! I very much enjoy sharing the great beauty of Jasper National Park!
Remember so many of these wonderful sights….. ❤ xxx
Some of the best scenery in the country!
93 & 93A how is difference?.My family will have a road trip to banff in September. Thank you in advance.
Highway 93 runs all the way from Lake Louise to Jasper. Highway 93A is an alternate route (part of the original highway built in the 1930s) that takes about an hour to drive at a much lower speed from Athabasca Falls to Jasper.
@@jaspersmoustachedmountaing5180 thank you
hey Norm is me the dude on the bus with you today
Thanks for joining me in this beautiful part of the world! -Norm
Amazing scream of victory too….. xxx

Awwww Hello…..how are you? How high was the snow last winter? was hoping for a video of Lake Maligne ??? Xxx
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for this video. I'm looking forward to stargazing there.
I hope you get a clear night - it's an amazing location for stargazing and aurora when the sky is clear! -Norm
@@jaspersmoustachedmountaing5180 Seeing the aurora would make my summer. I've wanted to see it for so long.
I was lucky enough to have you give the facts in person at this location.
That would be the perfect soundtrack for this short!
All i could here is John Denver playing in my head. ❤
Norm it was a pleasure to meet you on our trip from Banff to Jasper you were a bundle of information and laughs along the way ! Hope you enjoy your grandchildren and have a happy life Ray and Karen Timblick uk xx
The pleasure was all mine! Thank you for visiting our beautiful corner of the world and stopping by the channel! -Norm
How many foot prints and traffic travelled through the spruce trees from the log cabins @ jp1 to the river to fetch water, etc. I was just working on a ranch on the athabasca river upstream from this an old rail way stop. I found a pearl button, and an old diecast metal toy car. I know the car is from the 30-50s but the button could be much much older. As only had two holes and made from pearl. Keep your eyes peeled in the layers of dirt never know what you’ll find. But respectfully if it’s a monument. Contact the museum.
Great video
Thanks!
Often see elk fighting by the airport, but I don't think they're all practicing.
I've been to this location. I probably saw these trees, but didn't know what I was looking at.To me it was a scenic location. Nice to see you're still making these Norm. Regards from Tokyo Japan.
Great video 🎉
Thanks for the visit! Glad you enjoyed it.
past by Brule many times never stopped. my dad grew up in Luscar & i've been to that part of the coal branch many times over the years
The coal towns are a fascinating part of this area's history. Thanks for watching!
