Beautiful home in one of the worst city's in the Midwest, St. Louis!

An old lovely home however the interiors are uninspired, all white with very little original detailing and rather bland - could be spectacular with someone who has an imagination -

Oh, how I wish I could justify buying a beauty such as this!! But being single with my child grown and gone, it would be a shame to waste all that gorgeous space. It would be fantastic for entertaining. I hope a family buys this home and gives it all the love it deserves!

Ok for all the trolls from my hood complaining about this home not being authentic enough for a Tudor and how this Tudor home was ruined🙄y’all too dumb to realize this home is in Clayton MO which is west county in St Louis MO! This ain’t England fools! If you want authentic Tudor cottage charm I suggest you get y’all’s booties on a plane to England! Go visit the Cotswolds or Yorkshire or Devon! Go travel the rolling hills of the English countryside and don’t come back! This home right here is in the USA and from what I’ve read we ain’t never had a king named Henry Tudor! So y’all need to hush cuz I would like to see them places you be living in!?! You people need to get off that Kate Winslet The Holiday cottage aesthetic foreals! America is NOT the UK!

I imagine a lot of beautiful heavy trim and plaster mouldings were removed. The new seems rather diminutive. Conservatory is somewhat ugly. Absent of the classical lines seen in an Antique conservatory. Better insulated for winter notwithstanding. It’s a challenge renovating the older homes without losing their character.

The music is a turn off

I don't like it because, imo, no land, single car garage, cheap song, overrated. The furnishings are pretty, though.

Whoever did the renovation work on the interior of this authentic Tudor DID A HORRIBLE JOB. They absolutely ruined the authenticity of the English Tudor design and aesthetic. I don't even know where to begin; the color of the walls is totally wrong. Painting the original wood trim white was a sin. The designer must have been smoking crack when they replaced the original fireplace mantel with French Provincial. I could go on and on.... Bottom line, if they wanted French Provincial they should have bought a French chateau NOT an English Tudor. There are so many interior designers that DO NOT KNOW what the hell they are doing. They need to go back to school and learn the history of the time periods of architectural design.

Except for the black & white tiled bathroom this place is GORGEOUS. The shot of the cheap Mercedes should be edited out.
