Sorry we didn't have enough memory to capture everyone who played, but here is the full setlist to "DONKEYPUNCH the night" and one song at the end of the videos by "Indigo Children". Hope you enjoyed this unique experience and hopefully you will enjoy the other souls games too!
If gyn can not parry, he will be harder boss
Probably one of the most beautiful gaming experience one can have. Beating dark souls for the first time listening to plim plim plom and reminiscing on the journey. Ahhh...
now beat elden ring without summons
Nice now move on to a new journey
I decided to take a break from doing NG+ in favor of starting Dark Souls 3 for the very first time, but I will certainly revisit this game at a later point! Still have certain sidequests I need to do such as Siegmeyer's and also haven't even found where Kaathe is either in my first runthrough. Then there's all the faction stuff too and probably other stuff I'm forgetting about.
and you did it without parrying 🎉
@papperlapoop ya I knew about parrying making Gwyn basically a joke of a boss fight and since I endured everything else leading up to the end of the game I decided to challenge myself and beat him without a single parry for my first playthrough! Glad I toughed it out ultimately, but it was tempting to just cheese him by parrying lol
@@TheEldorado1991respect my undead brother, i had the same experience like a year ago lol much more satisfying imho
Burn Baby Burn
Don't know why YT recommand this to me.... Anyway , congratulations~! Chosen undead...👍

Awesome cover bro! Love your tone, TOOL and that StingRay. Subscribed! ⚡️⚡️
Thank you kindly for that compliment! I'm glad that you dug the bass tone and video, someday hopefully in the near future this is something that I can get back into doing more seriously and frequently. I've been meaning to do an updated cover of this song along with several other TOOL songs, etc. Hopefully that will be in the near future after I get my whole recording studio set up in my new home. Thanks again for watching and for the sub! :)
Wow man, this is great! I’ve not so familiar with Tool but now I know what to put on my next playlist. Thanks 🤘💪 Great tone and accurate playing. Myself I’m just startin with the bass and find this kind of stuff super inspiring to watch.
Hey it's you from the Gunstar Heroes and Turrican covers! Thanks so much for the love my man, coming from someone of your virtuoso playing it sincerely means a lot! If you ever wanna collab sometime on a song cover and need a bass player then I'll try to muster up my chops for it, maybe you can even teach me some protips on guitar playing at some point too haha. Anyways have fun with learning the bass, I'm sure you'll pick it up in no time! Cheers
haha you're too kind @@TheEldorado1991 but thanks again m8! It is fun to learn new instruments but still I acknowledge my limits and definitely it wouldn't hurt to have a real bassist plugged in. I'll keep that in mind! But few months ago I used just a programmable midi plugin instead of real bass so this is an improvement, right 😝
@@chronoparticle Haha well I do guess it all depends on the artistic nature when it comes to the bass part! But I would ofcourse be very humbled should I ever be considered on a future collaboration or project of yours! Also, after getting a bit back into Turrican style music and Chris Huelsbeck inspired works, I was reminded of a late released game on the NeoGeo console called "GunLord", ever played it? There's this track called "Dreamy Ruins" that I'd reckon you should warrant checking out if you haven't! Could be a cool tune to cover at some point... Granted likely a keyboardist might be warranted if so given the composition haha, but I think it is very cool regardless! :D
@@TheEldorado1991 no I haven’t played it but I’ll check out that tune! NeoGeo was kind of a rare console wasn’t it? At least here in Finland I never got my hands on one. Only seen games on emus and such 🤷♂️
Fuckin grizzly dude
Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed the video :D
Yeeeeeee
I'm truly honored to be your very first subscriber brobro, can't wait to support the channel 😘
Hell yeah! Gnarly groovin!
Ayyeee right back atcha Uncle James!!! Thanks for the luv, you legend 🤘❤🎶
Awesome tone! What are your sans amp and eq settings? Thanks
Hey man! Thanks for the love and sorry I just noticed this comment from over a year ago LOL! For this particular cover I'm using a SansAmp Bass Driver DI for the tone with the Drive at a HAIR past 9 o'clock, Bass at about ~2' o'clock, Treble and Presence both rolled JUST behind the bass knob (before 2 o'clock), Blend rolled ALL the way up, and Level right at 9 o'clock! That coupled with the HX Stomp Busy One Channel 1 pre-amp preset (which is essentially just the same algorithm found in the Helix Native plugin but for an on-the-go stomp box multi-effects processor unit). Instrument used was a Sterling by Music Man Ray 34 and I did use a Boss BF-3 Flanger pedal for some of the sections (such as the intro) as well, hope this helps! Cheers :)
Nice cover dude very consistent timing was on point
Love the tone of your bass very chuggy
Why isn't this in 4K? Angry react
stay tuned for our 10 year anniversary box set release which will feature all current videos in 4k glory when it will be obsolete by then, just like this video.
Everybodies doing 8K now bro
Great voice
Spot on dude
Cheers man! I will likely redo this one in the near future now that I know how to record with Direct-In through a DAW. Believe it or not this was all live captured with a handheld cam in a room lol.
Killing the game, Saucy
:)
that tone is sick as fuck man :o gj!
Love the tone that you're getting out of your rig. Good stuff.
Wish I saw this when you commented 3 years ago! Thanks for the kind words Uncle James. I am in the process of getting back into doing these covers, now that I've learned a thing or two when it comes to proper sound engineering. I'll tag you when I start doing more of these! :-)
Really nice cover, but can you share a tabs maybe? :)
Yes, I'm undergoing the process of getting set up to do these covers again. I'm planning on covering all the songs I did a long time ago and then some. I'll make sure to include tabs for this one when I get around to it :-)
Fuck yeah.
That was awesome man! You've gotten a lot better, keep it up :D
SideEffectt, hearing that comment coming from you means the world. Cheers brother :-)
Awesome!.. What did you do to get such sound??? I myself play six string - and you need to get a user at BandHub - a very good website for music collaboration -- perhaps we could do something in collaboration there?
Hi Jonathan, I'm using a sansamp bass driver DI paired with my swr workingman 10 cab, with two xlr cables routed into my m-audio/m-track 2-channel USB audio/ midi interface. One xlr cable is routed from the sansamp into the m-audio USB and the other xlr is routed from the back of the cab into the m-track USB. Between the cab and sansamp I am getting my left and right "stereo image" sound, which is what you're hearing in the video. Also I haven't heard of BandHub but I'll check it out! Thanks for watching :-)
NICE
@2JustJoin- Heya, sorry for replying 11 months later lol, but I actually didn't use any of those pedals for this cover. I used my tube setting on my SansAmp Bass DI box however, which I use for all of my covers incase you were wondering. Cheers!
Beautiful, clean playing. Nice job.
Thank you! I appreciate your comment :-)
Great job! Better than me :-)
awesome! one of my favorites
Nice cover. Love this tune. Great idea showing the pedals at the start, but which ones did you use for the cover?
I realize I'm five years late responding, but if you still wish to know, it was only the SansAmp DI box I was using for this cover.
Epic!
Very good playing man!
Thanks for commenting!
very good ! great timing
Thanks! Glad it was that good (-:
Awesome cover man ! Subscribed.
Thanks! Hopefully I do (-:
Haha thanks man! This video is pretty old and soon I will redo it with direct in, since this time I only had an hd camera to record so it didn't pick up the sound too well. Glad you enjoyed it though! Also, good luck with the bass playing. Cheers (-;
Nice. Now I know the song. Thanks for such a nice close up; a clean and clear shoot of the playing. I just started with bass and am loving it. Learning a lot of Jane's, Tool, Helmet and Fuzagi. Nice stringray also. I'm getting something similar with a coil tapped ernie ball p/u.
I realize this is five years ago, but you're welcome! I'm glad this video proved to be helpful for at least some people. Part of why I chose to cover this song was because I noticed there weren't any other cover videos (at the time) that really showed people how the song is meant to be played. Cheers!
great !
