Hi. Super nerd here. Lol. Better way to determine value is to create a spreadsheet which determines the price per item that you're paying in each pack. Then, you can more accurately and objectively compare the value of each pack and the best packs to buy for each item. You can also track your spending and rewards in each event and determine whether it's better to buy the items in the packs or buy packs to play mini games in the events. Speed ups can be very valuable for mid spenders. When you consider the price you pay for items and the points you get from each item during SVS prep, you'll find that training and general speed ups give you the most points for the price you pay. Saving and prioritizing speed ups for long enough can earn you a top spot in SVS prep and can get you a lot of mythic hero shards.

Notice how the gathering didn't speed up from from activating the skill comparing the screen at 24:29 and 24:32? It's because you need to activate the skill before you send the troops out to gather, this is what the skill description "only applies to troops deployed while the skill is active" is implying. The troops will take a "snapshot" of your stats, so if you activated the gathering speedup and sent the troops to gather, even after the skill expired those troops you sent out will still be gaining the bonus gathering speedup. This works the same as the 100% resource gathering speed boost, you can test it out yourself by comparing your gathering end time before and after activating the buff while the troops are already out gather. There will be no difference, but if you recall the troops and send out again, then you will see the difference in gathering finishing time.

Libation came from my state 339. He was the only real whale we had everyone mainly hovered around the 150-200M range. So we would get partner up with really strong people who a majority of us couldn’t handle. He had to take most of the load. Hope he does better in 316.
