India is a big & diverse country. There are 28 states & each state will have their own cuisine. Some of the bigger states infact have 3-4 cuisines. What you had is basically Punjabi cuisine from the state of Punjab. Also if you have rice & bread in your meal, then its always have a bread with the meat first when its still warm & then when the bread is over we then finish off the entire meat & sauce with the rice. Never the bread & rice together at the same time.
