I have autoimmune urticaria i delivered baby on 23 February 2023 immediately after two months i get red itchy skin.. doctors gave me steriods for 6 months then after bilastine 40mg for life time.. When i stop medicine i get itching again... Is there anybdy who have ASST positive ,ige and esonophils raised? Any remedy plz reply ?even my baby hug me i get discomfort in my skin

Hi , i to am suffering from this since June doctor has just put me on montelukast but has made my condition worse. I am going to see about being referred to a dermatologist and ask about these injections as my life is on hold at the moment. Thanks for posting this video

Thank you really much for your video. My kind of urticaria is different but i can pretty see what i'm living in your video. Unfortunately Xolair stopped working for me and it's so freaking hard to be understood by people with this disease. Nevertheless ur video still really gives me hope that i'll find a cure soon, i got a new treatment in 2 weeks, I'll hope this one is the right one.

It's unfortunate it took so long for you to receive a proper diagnosis and start omalizumab. I have CSU and my life it's been a nightmare for the last 6 months. I'm about to have my third injection of xolair, but I'm still experiencing rashes and major swelling in my face, so I'm concerned it may not work for me. Fortunately, the cost isn't too high where I live, as I only pay 12 euros per injection.

I’ve been battling this since 2015, tried fexofenadine, citirazine, cyclosporin, absolutely nothing worked except the omalizumab and now that has stopped working 😢. Now waiting to try remibrutanib. My last chance! I hope you’re still free from this nightmare of a disease ❤

I have histamine intolerance, but the tests failed to show anything. Keeping a food and symptom journal showed me. I cannot have dairy, fish oil, cured fish, avocado, tomatoes, etc. I found that lemon juice and raw apple cider vinegar are fine for me though. I also found that I have sulfur intolerance -- rutabagas and Brussels sprouts made my skin flare up really bad. Both histamine and sulfur intolerance (overload, really) are caused by certain bad bacteria in the gut. I found this video because now sunflower lecithin made me flare up, and I'm trying to find out why. I'm pretty sure that all these histamine reactions in our skin -- the root cause is certain specific bad bacteria in the gut.

Thanks for the update. I am currently suffering from the second bout of these things I've had in my life. The first lasted for about 6 or 7 years back in the late 90s. The only meds that helped back then were periodic steroids. Now over twenty years later, they're back and as bad as before, if not worse. I've tried some of the newer meds, like Montelukast, without success and got pretty excited about your Xolair video. However, after watching this, I'd like to suggest that it is possible that the injections merely coincided with your recovery. People who develop these tend to go into remission from anywhere between 6 months and 7 years. I did not know that there was a time lag between the injections and your recovery. Given that you had urticaria for a fairly short period of time (~7-8 months) prior to getting the injections, and that it took a month or more for the injections "to work", had it occurred to you that perhaps the urticaria went into remission on its own? You state that other people recovered four months after the injections. That seems like a long time, with many confounding variables at play, to give credit to injections that had been ineffective for months. I just bringing this up because after a lengthy career working in a health sciences research lab, I am very well aware of the string role confirmation bias has to play in the perception that an ineffective medication is effective. It is not to the doctors or the pharmaceutical companies to say the medications wasn't the answer. I'm sure I will soon find out for myself. But I will say one thing: we need to be vigilant when people are making billions from the public believinf their product is a care. I hope I'm wring. This is miserable.

Sonja. Hi. I hope you are still hive free. My story is identical to yours except that when I had my hives there was no xolair. I had them for seven years and they probably were the main reason I became an alcoholic. Nothing but steroids or massive drinking would help (alcohol is an immunosuppresant). They left as oddly as they came. After about 6 years or so, they just became less and less. I first got them around 1996 and they were gone by 2004. Alcoholism. didn't leave that fast - I don't recommend that treatment option. So, all was great for decades. Until.... October 2024. I saw one lump on my side. It was like a horror movie. "We're back." I took a photo of it in case my suspicions were correct. So, now I'm waiting for my second allergist appointment. I was was prescribed various things... Nothing works. It's just like 1996 all over again. I did end up with bronchitis and they gave me steroids for it which got rid of the hives for a while. But now they're gone and so I'm researching what else I can do. (steroids are VERY unhealthy taken long-term, that's why it's not a permanent solution). I see my allergist in 4 days and will mention the Xolair injection to her. I'm VERY, VERY glad I saw this, as I had no idea about these injections. Thanks for this video. You documented my experience...the rash can cover your entire body AND IT ITCHES LIKE CRAZY! I got my first Xolair injection 4 days ago...did you see very quick results or did the healing happen gradually? I'm thinking I had such extensive rashes that simply healing that will take time. I’ve had this reoccurring every few years, for about a day each time, throughout my life. Eventually I discovered that applying salt water instantly cures it (diving in the ocean would probably do the same) or a warm salt water bath. Right now I have a milder chronic form, which I’m at the hospital checking out. Hence me finding and watching this video. Thanks for making it!

Dear sonja, i get itching and once i start itching skin starts getting long lasting rasehs....but whn i take a tablet (Montaire LC) this itching get suppressed within 10 minutes but the entire circles starts in next 2-3 days... i mean to say i am on montair LC( 2 to 3 tablets a week, since last 4 years). Does it( such long use of montair LC) have a side effect? Best Wishes from India.
