And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ev...

Hand-Stitching Zipper Repair

This is a quick-and-dirty fix of a zipper on an instrument case, but I suppose it could work for any zipper where function is a bigger concern than aesthetics:-)

DIY Wooden Musical Instrument Mandrel
how do you make it sound so jazzy?
this one time at bandcamp... j/k dude. thats some bad ass playing!
Nice man.
Is that a version of Donna Lee?
Amazing! Thanks for this!
That’s been in the tool box for 20 years. Used to use cyran wrap for sticky pads on period clarinets that would always become sticky while playing
Been done that many times. I hace plumber's tape always in my case for an emergency and in my classroom aswell for my students.
Just checked and those wooden bell mandrels really are like $92 right now 😱
I love the plants and the window being in view while you’re buffing. And the amount of natural light you’re getting in general! Great respite from the chaos of the bench (in general. That’s not commentary on how organized or messy your bench is lol) I’m pretty surprised you’re buffing silver plate with Red; it got drilled into us pretty hard at Red Wing to never buff silver plated keys or instruments because of how easily the soft thin plating buffs away. Hopefully you’re being gentle with it! Blue Hubble on a soft wheel could be a safer yet costly choice; that stuff is seriously awesome and worth the absurd price tag.
True, I should emphasize that I usually use an acidified thiourea solution (like Tarn-X or Empire's), rinse with water, wipe down with a cloth, and usually do some polishing by hand. If I am needing speed or a little bit more aggressiveness, I might use the buffing wheel with red rouge, but I'll be very gentle and let the compound do the work (not pressure). If I need to use extra buffing or elbow grease, I always tell the player that there is a chance some bare copper will show through. I do use the BH on a 6" loose cotton wheel (smaller circumference=less distance per rotation=slower surface speed at the edges...).
Sounds perfect to me. Thanks for that bit of clarification!
Thanks a bunch, especially for that tid bit the end.👍
Burnn'! And that was 85%??? Plenty fast enough I say! Thanks for sharing!
Great arrangement. Wondering if you have that available for purchase somewhere? Leading a community Clarinet Choir that would like to tackle it this year. Do you have arrangements with any further parts (i.e. 4th & alto clarinet)? Thanks. Cheers.
Eat your heart out Squidward!
buddy breathe
That’s so amazing !!!!!!
How i just found this is insane, this is really good! hope you still play the clarinet cause this sounds awesome!
Yess I have to preform this song also on the bass clarinet and this made me hear how the bass line in the beginning is supposed to sound on one badass instrument, Thank you 🙂
That's just noodling ,any competent musician can do that .
Sheet music?
We just gonna gloss over the fact he was wearing a neck strap for the clarinet. Lol no hate just find that funny, great solo
You’ve made it kid
Amazing!! 😍
Oh my goodness, I LOVE this! The piano concerto makes me cry and I was just sitting here wondering if anyone has transcribed it for clarinet. Did you put this into sheet music? I would absolutely purchase it if you did!
Doreen Ketchens has you beat
I cannot disagree with that :-)
@@briangnojek6615 You rock too though
Yeh. That was really good. 👋👋👏👏
Hope you get more subscribers btw because you really deserve them im not allowed to subscribe tho
I noticed that a rope like a crossrope is a much better rope to have in the long run. while it is expensive there are cheaper alternatives online you can get. I personally get a much better workout with the ropes themselves being weighted and not the handles. plus you don't have too deal with the ropes getting kinks and curls while using it
Thanks for this video. My walmart version had rusted my sweat and rain, from using it outside. I was about to fix it, but had no clue of its parts, because they fell out. LoL!!! Thank you!!!! I really appreciate it!!!
"Greatest jazz clarinet solo ever". Not really, but probably rhe busiest.
Hey man do you improvise from chords or play notes? sounds amazing.
Pleased to be the first to post. Thanks Brian and Vince! I played with my father in church, growing up. Great memories! ~Carl
I was doubtful, but this is indeed the greatest clarinet solo ever!
Lol, thanks!
Is my hearing inaccurate about the intonation, especially at the beginning.
?
Very good
Ciao! :) Sorry, can you make a mashup between Limahl's "Neverending Story" and Taylor Swift's "Love Story"? Thanks! :)
hello I would like to know if there is a version of mashup but longer??(sorry i use google translate)
How long did it take you to learn this piece?
Bloody brilliant, doing this for my grade 8 and haven't quite grasped the SpEeD... Ahhhhhh!!
Thank you for not talking endlessly while showing a good tip but you are putting moisture back into the clarinet by blowing through it after having swabbed it, no?
A wip
Very Nice. But think of the future : Martin Schmidt-Hahn clarinet is one of the coming up stars in the next time !!
I dream
💪👍✊👏👏👏👏🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿
FINALLY a jazz clarinetist with a great tone and not just some noob who plays but lets the throat open!!!!!!!
hola me gustaria recibir tu version me gusta mas que otras...la tocas muy bien podrias mandarmela......manuelbrito42@hotmail.com

Parabéns
I disliked, because this dude has a neck strap
What’s wrong with a neck strap
i kinda like it but i dont like the sometimes repetition but altogether it's AMAZING
This is what the "form" of a Rondo is! The opening (refrain) keeps coming back: ABACABA.
Awesome collaboration!
