    I wanted to bring attention to the public and a person experience with Shaylia McRae. My son has been struggling in the Hillsborough school district and I recently reached out to many administrators and finally to Mrs Shaylia McRae! I requested an IEP for months with no success. Finally today the district conducted a hearing without my son and I with a final decision to remove my disabiled son from traditional school in to a nontraditional environment pleaged with violence and 15% success rate. I’m disappointed and disappointed at this system and leadership. But I will continue to fight and protect my disabled son! Shaylia McRae has not lived up to nothing she has stated.

    He has given himself multiple raises for doing nothing (correction: he has making DPS much WORSE). Where is the new and improved Discipline Matrix? What busses? He doesn't listen to parents, has removed some of the BEST of the BEST principals from the most highly rated schools, is anti-Innovation. He NEEDS TO GO NOW. Hence all the "Resign Morrero" yard signs showing up all around Denver. Take a hint and LEAVE.

  • @tamimatthews5234
    @tamimatthews5234 11 месяцев назад

    Unfortunately, Dr. Marrero has not done some of the things he claims he has. Maybe our bus situation is better than other cities (I don't know), but high school students are using city public transportation to get to school, some schools have no or limited bus service, and Title I schools are paying $277 per bus. He claimed that more students are graduating than ever before, but that's not the case -- since the pandemic yes, but not ever. The gap in black and Hispanic students is widening, not narrowing. Honestly, as a Denver resident, I wish he would spend less time doing these interviews and more time actually listening to parents, teachers, and students. He has yet to step foot in the school my kid goes to in SW Denver (an underserved area).

    Why are we not even ranked top 50 in education and yet we spend the most money? We have under 30% of students proficient in math and reading. 30% and you want a raise? Money is why most kids are idiots coming out of school? They sure know all about genders and being a victim.. that's for sure. Imagine doing a job 30% correctly and taking a pay raise. Only in the government. A entire rework needs to be done but this wont happen so lets do another "tax increase in schools" because that will work for the dozenth time.

The six figure salaries this idiot is exposing has no funding from the state to go with it, and it’s only for a few teachers. That will do nothing to help the brain drain that is occurring when it comes to education in our state.
