My Air Force BMT Experience
Welcome back! It's been a minute, but I am finally getting my BMT experience uploaded. I graduated BMT a while ago and am just making this video so I definitely didn't remember everything. If you have any questions drop them below and I will do my best to get them answered. :)

Very nice video! Thorough and to the point 😊 I went to the Atlanta meps and everything was straight forward. They let us check out phones periodically so I was checking it probably every 15 minutes. The whole experience is actually pretty fun

What helped you choose a branch?
It was pretty easy for me to decide which branch I wanted. My Dad has served in the Army for 35 years, and my husband served in the Marines. Talking with them is how I landed on my decision of the Air Force. They both told me (along with many others) that the Air Force treats their members the best out of the branches.
Hii! Thanks for the content! How long was the duck walk and did they make you stand on you heel or just walk on your heel? Also, what state did you do MEPS in?
Hello! During my experience the duck walk didn't last very long, from what I remember it was about 6 steps. It didn't last more than 20 seconds. I didn't have to stand on my heels, I just walked on my heels. I went to MEPs in Alabama.
@@thissavageabbie6751 Thank you! Have you gone to BMT? If yes, how many run days and strength days were there in a week? Also, do you get to choose which PT bottoms you want to wear?
Do you get to choose your job?
During my experience I was able to make a list of 10 jobs that I wanted. The jobs I wanted weren't guaranteed because they give jobs based off of availability/job openings.

I can't remember my top 5, but my top 3 were Finance, Logistics and Contracting.

Hello! My ship date is the 28th, so only a couple more days. I was only in DEP a little over a month 😊
Hi, Sorry that i annoying you, but if you have time can i have question: are candidates barefoot (without socks) during medical examination and how detail doctors examine feet of candidates (like soles, toes,.)? My gf will goes to MEPS and she is very shy about her feet, because she has very dry feet soles and she hates to stand barefoot on cold floors. I was searching MEPS exercises videos, but they show not how the examination of feet look like. Thx very much and i wish you only peacful and relaxing days!
Hello! Yes for the exam we were barefoot. During my experience they had me lift up each foot so they could check the bottoms of my feet. Best of luck to your gf, tell her not too worry about it too much!
