@ im curious how you neatly animated the weapon swap segment and healthbar without using shaders. I am writing an informal paper on HLSL shaders for tf2 with the intention of computing player velocity, input, and view angle so I can recreate DeFRaG’s acceleration visualizer. The viewangle part is proving extremely difficult given that cl_showpos renders above the HUD, PlayerView material proxy is useless, and I cannot obtain any other vector in world coordinates other than PlayerPosition within the shader.
