This RUclipsr is lying to you. There are ZERO flight school graduate expecting to get an airline job as soon as they finish. All of them know that there is additional flight experience required to work even the lowest-level pilot job in aviation. Most of them expect to work at least a couple of years as a flight instructor to gain the 1000+ additional hours they need to be come a First Officer. Avery flight school I've trained at and worked ensures that students understand this before they start. There's no way this guy is being honest and actually believes what he's telling you.

Can anyone tell me what the costs are to obtain a license to earn? Just a rough idea of the different tiers would be great. Thanks.

Keith, love your videos! They’re really helpful. They’re brief too, which makes them easy to digest. However given that you’re the only RUclipsr I was able to find that talks about the dumpster fire that is Canadian aviation, I find them to be a little too brief. I see that it’s been 4 months since you posted this video and at the time this shows as your latest. I don’t know if you’re gonna continue making more videos in the future but if you’re planning to, I got a couple of things I’m interested in seeing that I think, given that you’re one of the handful of Canadian aviators in the platform, only you can provide. As of now I haven’t started my aviation journey yet and trying to study for the future examination material. Going into forums, asking people in the industry, Checking out the study material references that TC provides, the whole deal. Specifically when I check out the study materials for each exam, starting with PPAER all the way up to SARON/SAMRA, I see that the study material is mostly the same. Or when I search the study material on RUclips all I see is FAA American ones. American meteorology lessons might help a little or even with the instruments but when it comes to regulations I expectedly hesitate to check them out. So I think what I’m asking is that us Canadian aviators need a little more in depth videos that I think are in huge demand. Thanks for taking the time to do what you have done so far. What if MH is 350 and RB is 300 = BTS is 650? Do you subtract 360 first, then 180 to get the BFS?

I’m selling my plane and quitting. To much BS in industry. Instructors use you only to get hours, flight schools (you are just an object of income ). Faa seeks to fail you at every opportunity. I soloed very early on , got above 70 hours. And about 300 hours simulated. I got the flying down extremely well. But ground school and check ride is BS. Instructors just tell you just study more, just study more. ( but in reality even instructors don’t know answers to a lot of questions that is on the test. ) it’s impossible to memorize all 700 questions.

Hey I’m really confused on when to use the different intercept angles, so 15 degrees when passing over, 90 when really close( how do you know if you’re really close ?) and 30 and 45 are the regular ones, when do I use 30 rather than 45 I’m doing an online ground school and super confused any reply would help

In New Zealand you need individual type ratings for every single type of aircraft so it is actually relevant here.
