A Biblical perspective on children in a world that calls them an inconvenience
Our culture has not just devalued the family, it has devalued children. From longer school days so parents can work to the rise of DINKs and the prevalence of elective abortion, children are under attack in our world today.
But we shouldn't be surprised by this. The Bible tells us in Psalm 8:2 that "Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." The enemy seeks to silence our children lest he himself be silenced by them!
It's up to us to equip our children, to treasure them, and train them up in the way the gospel. The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.

It truly hasn’t been until recent years that I have realized what a gift and blessing my upbringing was to me. I pray I steward it well. Hi! We talk about these terms more in the full video. When you dig down to the definitions, none of those buzz words stick to the nation of Israel. I was would recommend watching the full podcast. Even if you don’t agree, it’s helpful to understand more about where the other side is coming from.
Delusional. Men created God and gods in tteir own image, hence, man and heaven and hell are here, not after one dies.
Interesting perspective. I find it hard to look at the world around me and not believe in a Creator and Savior. I can see and feel His presence in my life personally. As far as heaven and hell being here on earth, there is certainly a very palpable battle between good and evil, and it is mirroring what is going on in the spiritual realm.

Hi, you should check out the full video to get my complete thoughts on it. You're right that the Bible doesn't say anything specific about voting (as it doesn't specifically mention many things). As you'll see in the full video, though, my encouragement is that we are not of this world, but God still has us in it for a reason. He calls us to be His ambassadors. Voting - as with every other thing we do and say - is an opportunity for us to shine the light of Jesus. That's not to say that any candidate or position is synonymous with Christ or fully aligned (or even somewhat aligned) with Christ. But we do our best to vote for those things that best align with God's Word in order to for things to look a little more "on Earth as it is in Heaven". ....Also, I'm not your daughter. If anything, I'm your sister in Christ, coequals in His promises.
