Just did this in my '01 since my alternator bit the dust yesterday on the way to work, glad to see there's an easy upgrade from that stock alternator that doesn't involve waiting 3 weeks lol.

What size of rims and tires are those? I have an 01 X.. wana get a bigger tire size.. not sure which is the biggest size I can fit without the tired rubbing. My X is stock.

How did you install them? where did you take the power to make the less work?

Here in the NY ADK I have put bags of sand, Lowe’s, over the rear axle for some added weight and for using under tires if someone is stuck on ice. A 4X4 is only as good as the traction you get, the front has the motor weight but the rear end can be really lite, especially empty pick up trucks!

Great video I learned a lot on this. Been thinking about building a set for my 2011 gmc sierra.

When installing the halos just use 3 or 5 min epoxy so u dont gotta use the wire cause details is key fr fr McCoy motor sports taught me how to retrofit the Angel eyes and demons eyes and so on while u got every thing out and moddin things this is the time to.add any other lighting items like extra stripped leds do not by the cheaper ones they will not last u get exactly what ur paying for word of simple advice try an get us made as well if not go with the more expensive leds fr but cool on the instruction video tho cause they sure in the he'll dont come with any instructions period i guess they want u to.mess up ur headlight housing a few times to learn a valved lesson fr cause its dam sure some trial an error i will say that like he said move alone very slowly better take alot of extra time and not be in no rush and ur projectors should come out like u either paid out the ass or they came factory installed thats the point to make ur old stuff more up to date cause old headlights truly suck ass fr idc if u do the hid coversion kits it helps but nothing like these tho fr fr so get prepared for people to start flashing there lights at u trying to get u to dim them down but if u keep having the other people flashing there lights at u the only other option u have got is to by some of the super light plastic headlight tint an once u throw.the light tint to them they wont do that no more it just allows u to keep more control over any headlight mods u might be plaing for ...
