Kanaha Windsurfing 8-21-2024 - Off To The Races
Windsurfing with my son, Jacob "Jake", at Kanaha Beach park, Maui. He asked if I wanted to go sailing with him... I said "It's pretty windy, but ok". We, of course, had a Great time!!

Summertime at Kanaha on Maui is breezy and a great time for ocean sports - like windsurfing. Had a little bump and jump late July - thanks to Sergio for extra camera footage!!

This thought occurred to me while windsurfing along side of Robert a couple of days ago at Kanaha, Maui. Robert's Stunt Double was not trying any move (new or old) - it was just a "C p Happens" moment..... Crashes do occur with some regularity with ocean sports, as well as, everyday human life... Maybe with breaking it down, you will smile!!

Father's Days are never better for me than to have some quality time with my son, Jacob "Jake", at Kanaha Beach Park - Maui. 2024 was no exception for some shared windsurfing time!! Here is a VR experience of windsurfing at Kanaha Beach Park on Maui. To enjoy fully go to settings - change to 1080 or 4K - highest setting and select loop play.

Dude! A fellow windsurfer who takes the time to film, edit and post does not deserve a comment like that. I haven't been able to get to Maui in five years and it was nice to see some wave riding action and a few backies, in my favourite place!

Opps, sorry. I don't many views or comments - Ocean is open but Kanaha beach park (where vast and very close parking is available) still remains closed. It is worse now in that all parking in the airport area is closed, so the next closest parking (may not be legal parking, either) is over a mile away!!! No new cases of virus in about two weeks........ Thanks for watching.
