I'm sitting in my room while UVA is canceled due to coronavirus. This brings back some good memories. I wish first-year wasn't cut short.
This may be the best use of color and light ever, team! All I could add is that I wish the crowd noise had been included to convey the true experience of this event from the beginning. Wonderful job, UVA Drama Light Shop. Look forward to another posting with crowd noise included. Kudos.

Nothing like cutting loose heading into exams before you have to go home to family. These kids work hard, study hard, and deserve a bit of a break before exams. It's cool.

Atrocious music, but I'm an old Wahoo starting in 1952. UVa was quite a different university then, with 4,300 total enrollment, including all graduate schools. We had fun also, even while wearing coats and ties. Mincer's Pipe Shop was a closet on Elliwood Avenue. Polo was just getting started; new Cabell Hall was opened for classes. Life was sweet.
Not about you, man. It's about the kids who are there then. I hear you, but time does march on. With or without you.
