I found a drift event happening at Willow Springs the Wednesday before and I didn't have a reason not to go so I got the whip ready. rented a trailer, and headed out. The event was put on by Pacific Drift out of San Diego and I'd highly recommend going to their events for anyone wanting to get into drifting!

I wanted to take a quick second to give a walk through on how I installed the ATEMU in my 2002 Lexus GS300. this works with 2002-2005 GS300 and 2002 IS300. for other chassis you are going to need to find your own wiring pinouts to use but the process is still the same

WARNING DO NOT USE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVERS for this job. Use the correct JIS Japanese Industrial Standard bits and screwdrivers. Otherwise you will cam out the screws and have to resort to hacksaw, just like what happened here. If you look at the head you will see a dot on it.

I got code p1128 on my 98 gs300, i went into limp mode first code was p1121, replaced the apps and tps, went back into limp mode but only code is p1128 now!(throttle control motor lock) im thinking of just replacing the throttle body motor too like in your video💪🏽

Im confused as to how your wheel fell off. Camber bolts should be there incase the bushings go. Did you just ignore all signs till it was too late or am i missing something.

@@AngelHernandez-ny6dg I have a problem at the rear suspension l replaced the upper control arm , shocks, sway bar links and saw bar bushings and it’s still making a noise ,,, I’m thinking that it could be the lower control arm , but let me tell you ,,, the lower control arm has two bushings , one bushing is in the control arm but the other bushing inside of the knuckle 🤦♂️ meaning I would have to replace the bushing from the knuckle so I can use the new control arm ! That’s crazy because if I don’t replace the bushing I will have to replace the knuckle that you can only find it at the dealer:( I found a website where I was able to find the bushing alone for knuckles :)

Hey man question, when you do this does this need to be retuned to the ecu knows its a manual or it doesn't need it at all and it like a go and play?
You can install an ATEMU which I really recommend but you don't need it. I used the car for over a year with everything stock

No it fit right in and I adjusted it later on to get the pedal placed better
Hey for the drive shaft which size bolt pattern did you get. the small or large?
I honestly don't remember but it's pretty easy to measure, therenis a big size difference between small and large so it's worth it to go underneath the car and measure it

i’ve been having problems with my 99 gs300 it was having trouble start and then fully died so i went to charge battery at autozone then came back put it in and started right up but then day later wouldn’t start so i got a new battery and put it in and still no crank no start any ideas before i spill more money into my car? love the vids btw

Thank you for this, tried to get an alignment the other day come to find out a bunch of suspension parts are too worn to hold alignment apparently including the bushings so this is probably saving me a couple hundred

hey man so i ran into a problem i literally cannot find the "D" pin out from ECU Connector. the instructions say to cut out. SLT+,SLT-,SLU+ ,SLU-,SLN+,SLN-,R,N,D,4,3,L, SP2-,NCO- And STP. Do u have any idea where "D" is what pin out?? also did u just cut these wires completley out of the harness?? I have a 02 Is300 thank you! awesome video
In the video I put all of the pinouts that I had but it should be in there, I didn't cut them out entirely, just where they go into the ecu
