She looks like brand new. If you watch GWR Studio’s review of the train, you can see the firebox, pistons, and wheels were all rusty. But with its replacement, we’ve been taken back to 1941.

In addition to great camera work, the audio quality is amazing! You managed to block out all background background noise and get sharp audio quality of just the locomotive. The whistle echoes and stack talk are superb. What a great video!

My grandpa used to swear by these steam engines, and always said it was a mistake to do away with them.
Luckily it seems at least here in the United States we have 1 or 2 newly restored locomotives. More and more every year!

Yes, it has a reading 6 chime as well as a reading single chime “hooter” to add some variety

Needless to say...A GREAT recruiting video !!! Me? I'm 70 years old and supplement my "meager" income with Social Security. I'd be there in a "Heart-beat" except that 1.) I hate being in cold weather, so nothing North of the Mason / Dixon line would work. 2.) My current job is working in an Auto parts store as a parts delivery guy and by lifting / carrying / and delivering "dual - ly"" brake rotors and huge batteries all day kind of tells me to back-off. 20 years ago...YEAH, If it paid a living wage, but I'm sure you're looking for volunteer people and I get it. Best of luck to Ya'll !!!
