The reason why there is an aramith logo at the centre of the Brunswick box is because they are manufactured by the company Saluc, who own the Aramith brand. They pretty much have a monopoly on billiard balls. It’s also the reason why they are quite expensive as they have to be imported from Belgium, it sucks even harder if you live let’s say in the United Kingdom which is where I’m from, Because in order to get those Brunswick balls they have to be manufactured and imported from Belgium to the United States and then I have to import them back from the United Kingdom which means there is going to be high import costs, for some reason I can’t just buy them straight from aramith.

Yep, Especially the Brunswick Centennial balls, they can be very expensive brand-new. In fact over here in the UK you can buy roughly two sets of Aramith black for the price of one Brunswick Centennial set.

I notice a difference more in the break more then any other play. But that is just me. Those old balls I have I can really notice a much slower roll. But between the Arimith, Black and Centennial just a slight diff in rebound and roll. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the comment. You saying the Centennial balls will come back. I've cleaned them but not with a machine. Now the old ones, those ones we only keep when our friends kids come over.

Much rather buy made with pride Belgium made products than Chinese products any day of the week. I know companies like aramith take care of their employees and I am not funding Communism and slave labor.

@@MikeJones-on9vm Hey Mike, here's my two cents: The Japer Bees fall into the category of the Brunswick, McDermott Galaxy and Imperials (that make custom football team balls). They're good for tables owned by the weekend warrior crowd. By that I mean the APA and BCA weekly/ biweekly league peeps. The league crew are most of the time the "pool shark" of their friend group, so it shouldn't really matter to them what balls are on the table. I personally have the arcos II and a set of aramith black. But I play on a 9ft diamond with 4" flat pro cut pocket and I run out pretty frequently. I have several pro friends who I play even one pocket with on my table or out and about on a gold crown with triple shimmed 4.125" pockets and when we are out we have a set of balls with us so its a little different for us, we personally care. I don't think the home owner with a table or league regular should worry about brand, they're not out killing people on the table, they're not gambling for big sets so I really don't think it should matter lol my friend has a 9 ft Brunswick with huge 4.5" pockets and he has a set of Japer Bees and they play totally fine! We always have a good time and he couldn't tell you the difference between my set and his. What I suggest is if you're going to buy a 100 dollar set of balls, you may as well save up and buy the aramith crown standard balls! About 70 dollars more and you'll feel much happier about your purchase. You will have the "pool player" stamp of approval from yourself and your friends to have a household pool brand in your home. 170 for aramith crown standards vs some Japers Bees for 100 is a no brainer. @@johnhernandez4734 Thank you for this advice John, i would fall under the weekend warrior category lol. I am new to playing pool consistently and I don’t know much of brand quality or equipment yet. I just got a pool table (which I’m starting to realize I should have payed more money for lol) and the set it came with are crap lol so I bought the $40 japer bees set and the number 7 ball chipped on the first break lol. Was deciding if I should get them replaced or get my money back, but now I’m definitely going with your advice and I’m buying the Aramith crown set as soon as I get my money back. Really appreciate your help and I’ll let you know if anything comes up, Thanks again.
