I dont enterily agree with the take on eddie being a terible freind and all that, they come from such diferent places in their journies that is natural the way he acts and all that,, doesnt make it correct but it does make sens ein the story of the movie. In regards to the "stealing" her future i think its more of a "i dont need it anymore" energy than anthing else, Amber probably still wants to go abroad but she came out to her mom, has a girlfriend and basically serves as his mentor througt the whole movie. Overall its one of my favorite lgbt films Ive seen this year I would say

This was a wonderful movie !!!!!!

To be completely honest, I really don’t like the movie. The first time I saw it was on Netflix, and I thought it was going to be interesting, but I was left feeling...conflicted. On other viewings, I was really annoyed, mostly at the side characters. The main guys were alright, but everyone else around them made me a little more than ticked off. I know that a lot of people saw it’s a satire, but I just feel like it’s really lackluster and annoying.

I love this movie. I think the script is really sharp. I think the family likes Claire Danes because they don’t think she will be a part of their family, so they are cool around her. She is more relaxed also and that helps, plus Amy had already met Meredith and didn’ like her.

THE best young LGBT+ film ever made. The music (Mama Cass) makes this so amazing. The actor playing Tony is gay. Glen Berry has never acted since. He now sells cars.
