The first leg of my cross country solo flight, April 19th 2019 from Rakkestad to Torp in Southern Norway.

At 57 years of age and after15:45 of dual instruction I passed my solo check ride. I got my glider pilot's licence in 1986, and flew actively until 1993. Since then, until I started flying in Oct 2017, I did not touch the controls of an airplane....If anyone would have asked me a year ago if I were to fly an airplane again, I would surely have said "No way".
