That plant you thought was a sea buckthorn looked more like some sort of nightshade to me. Sea buckthorn tends to grow into a tall bush, 2 to 4 metres tall. Be careful, buckthorn makes good jam, etc but nightshades are poisonous. I loved the video: thanks. I like to walk from Ladye Bay for an hour or so, and then turn and go back. I have never got as far as Portishead.

Hi Peter Thanks for watching the video I've been searching the internet and my reference books and I think you are right, because the nearest plant I can find is one called Bittersweet or Woody Nightshade, it's described as being a plant that crawls over other plants, which it appears to be doing in my photograph. Many thanks west country scenes

Good selection of jigsaws there. Quite a few old ones which I have done in the past, Broken Biscuits (2006), Village Tea Rooms, Look Inside under a different title, Greyhound Hotel 2016 I think, Night Before Christmas 2004 & Treats at the Station. Didn't recognise any of the others so I don't know what brands those were.

@@westcountryscenes6881 Dates were year of manufacture. I have a list of jigsaws that I have done but I didn't start this list until 2016. Amazing footage! That looks like a sizable fish around 2:20 (do you know what kind?) she caught! The fish was struggling, but the hungry Heron quickly managed to fully consume (alive?!) it all okay? It looked like the unlucky thing was desperately kicking sliding down that long throat! I wonder, does the large fish stand any chance of escaping if eaten in that condition? Maybe it can turn around inside the elastic throat/stomach and has a chance of survival here.

Concord was an engineering marvel. If it wasn't for the demand of massive commercial air travel at cheaper rates, the Concord would still be flying today.

It would still be flying today if aerospatial hadn’t pulled the plug on supplying spares. There was a healthy appetite to want to still fly in this plane in the UK as of 2003, not so much in France.

Fascinating! The Lower Guinea St Bridge replaced the old lift bridge which carried the railway line over the entrance to the Basin. At one time, the former wide gauge GWR tracks could still be seen at that spot. Does anyone remember seeing 'Harry Brown' - the sand dredger - entering the Basin to unload at the quay where the lightship now is? I do, a memorable sight.
