On this day I motor sailed from Kemah to the Gulf using less than one gallon of gas. It was nice to see dolphins again. I've been living on land, or at marinas for the last two years so after two nights sleeping on the hook in very rough seas I was already shagged, before I got to the Gulf of Mexico. I forgot how the wires inside my mast tend to clang all night if there is any fetch at all. I am going to find a way to rip those wires out! At least I didn't get sea sick. I'm so sick of Texas now I can feel it in the pit of my stomach. I never want to set foot in Texas again, but the North east wind made it too difficult to sail 58 miles north east in one day, so I returned home in defeat....
