An example of Davy Stewart's lovely instrument making. Sorry about the timing lapses and finger slip-ups, the clip's to demonstrate the sound of the instrument.

I assume you saw the heart emogi which meant with respect and who are you to say I was rude when you called me a troll. The pot calling the kettle black. Also it wasn't out of context at all.
It's Davy Stuart. ❤
Yes I've done a workshop with him. I know. Thank you
This was made 20 or so years ago and I've probably been a bit preoccupied with other things to rummage through my past videos, to correct mistakes, in order to please people preoccupied with with this kind of tendency toward negativity,. I'm pretty sure Davy wouldn't care, I certainly wouldn't
The video was for demonstration purposes. Yes it was incorrect spelling, I learnt that soon after posting. However, You're basically a troll.
That comment of yours angered me. Did you he get out of bed on the wrong side today? Davy is a very good friend of mine of around 40 years and I worked alongside Davy part time for around 5 years. Nothing negative at all all about my comment. I didn't even look to see when it was posted. If you are going to name him you should get the name right. After all, his name is his buisness Idiot if you think I was trolling.
Yes, as your trolling irked me. As I eluded to, people get my name and spelling (of), incorrect from time to time. When the focus is the music, pedantry stands second in line, in my thinking). It's arrogant to correct out of context. I would never do it and I notice incorectness all the time. It's the irrelevance and trolling tendency which bothers me. Wonderful, I'm glad you have a lot to do with Davy, he's lovely. It's the leaning toward negativity and irrelevance, so rife on these forums which I find so worrisome. People have a tendency to correct and ridicule, rather than praise. I don't know you, I'm sure you're very nice but your comment was not welcome, kind or helpful.

Don't care for unhelpful comments. It was Just an instrument for sale.
Great playing ! What scale length is this and what tuning?!
Thanks Tim, it's 21" and GDADA. What tuning do you use?
Nice! What's the name of the jig?
Thanks Jon. the tune is frieze breeches (also britches).
no
Thanks!
Hi, The sound of this Cittern here is slightly misrepresented by the empty room. As a consequence, In this clip the instrument seems to have more treble. Davy's instruments have a chunky sound, and very even response across all strings. I own a Sobell as well, it's very pretty but not enough bass for playing tunes in sessions. I always take the Davy to sessions, it stands out, which you really need with these quiet instruments. The bass on Davy's Citterns is very good, they're lovely Citterns!
I've been thinking about getting this one myself. Does it have a good deep sort of, how can I put it, bass response?
Hi, The tuning is GDADA. I've tried some others but I stuck with that one. I recently sold this one to finance another instrument. It was great...and SO LOUD (for a Cittern). What tuning do you use?
Great stuff
The clip was just a demonstration in order to try to sell it. Thank you for your kind words!@@moominpic
Thanks Luckybear!
i like it ! ^^
