I was expecting more. Most of this is barely music with a few really catchy songs.

Noticed a few errors in there like Alan O’Dea was Sean Cassidy. So the Brothers Gibb were the undeniable kings of the 70s. Bee Gees had longest at number 1 for 8 weeks and Andy Gibb had one at 7 weeks. You light up my life by Debbie Boone seemed like it lived on for years.

1980-1984 was golden. My favourite part of the decade.

U2 seems to be the only rock (not including soft rock) artist that they like. like the lack of beatles, nirvana, rhc, blur or oasis, dire straits, led zeppelin, metallica, ac/dc, green day, the clash, the smiths, duran duran, radiohead, prince, nmh, the cure, guns'n'roses, the rolling stones, the velvet underground, pearl jam, steve miller band, talking heads, blink-182, the doors, alice in chains and the smashing pumpkins. These decades of the greatest rock only won a few times. Then with so few hip hop songs despite the past decade creating what is undisputedly the greatest era of hip hop (and especially rap) ever. The grammys tends to be the least accurate out of all the award shows.

Seventies rock and pop made up the soundtrack of my life. A couple of errors, though. Don McLean sang American Pie and Shawn Cassidy sang Da Doo Ron Ron.

Some of these songs were written by people that I love, but sung by someone that I can't stand. All but four of these songs are great. 😢

Controversial opinion but here goes... The US had MUCH better songs at no. 1 in 70s,but the UK had MUCH better songs at no. 1 in the 80s
