Just went with my fiance the other day because of this video. Found tons of jigs and soft plastics, but then i found a clump of line with 4 daiwa SP minnows of different colors, a red head plug of kind and like 3 crankbaits.

Why does everyone seem to fish in that exact same spot? I have gone a few times and I always notice that a lot of successful fisherman (regulars) fish at that exact same spot that you're at. I have always wondered why a lot of the regulars tends to crowd up and cast their lures around the same general area of the river.

Even though you weren't going to use that lure I wouldn't have thrown it away. It was a little on the rarer side and worth some money. It's looks like the common trend over at that dam seems to be poppers and spinner baits. I never understood people's obsession with spinner baits. I've never caught anything with those.
