F-500 by Sony is quite cheap vintage microphone. The model was produces throught 80s in Japan. It is made of plastic/metal. Cardioid with Low Impedancy. Does it work well with a harmonica? Well, not very much... But still it's fun to experiment while searching for good amp settings for this vintage small microphone.

Thank you! I had so many because I won them in different competitions. Also I wanted to test various models and Bb is my favourite key. Recently I reduced my collection, so I have only 3 Bb harmonicas - Seydel 1847 with overblow setup for jazz, Hohner MB with blues setup and one universal Golden Melody as a backup. :)

Hey man. Thanks for making this video. I currently own a Suzuki Folkmaster now in the key of C (my primary key for now), Bb, and F. I'm planning to buy a Marine Band 1896 as an upgrade. My Folkmaster is pretty responsive, but not so as it only cost me like $15. Do you think I should get a Marine Band in the Key of C again or go for a different key this time (e.g. A or G)? FYI, I can pretty much bend, but sometimes the Folkmaster can be pretty unresponsive (not so to the point it becomes unplayable, but it does make weird shrill sounds sometimes). So yeah would love to know your opinion on that matter. Thanks for helping out!
Hey! I would go for a different key, it's nice to have harmonica in A, it's used even more frequently than C! Folkmaster is not a crazy good choice for bending&overbending training, but if you'll learn how to play these technics on Folkmaster, you'll be able to play them on any harmonica. So I would go for MB in the key of A, the old classic combination. :D
@@kwkurasThanks bro. Yeah I have been debating as well if I should get another C this time with a better brand. But yeah, will definitely look into the lower keys now...
But would you say a G harmonica is good since I play by myself anyway, and I personally like the sound of it more than the A.

G is good for making some video games music. Most of final fantasy music covers are made on G for exemple.

Depends on music genre. I play folk so I play almost exclusively in G & D in fi first position occasionally A and rarely C .

Na tym nagraniu nie wiem, zwykle pojemnościowy MXL 770, rzadziej Audix Fireball. Tutaj raczej jest ten pierwszy.
