i had a girlfriend of 7 years.. we met when we were kids and grew up together. high school when i asked her out and eventually we dated until we are working adults. just like a typical couples we had a lot of ups and downs. i do admit that im not perfect. as we grew older we had a lot of differences. i had a lot of shortcomings. i changed according to my visions and dreams. but she didn't. i asked space and time away from each other, i could still remember how she begged me not to stay away cause she says that she knew that im not coming back. it wasn't on my plan all along. i wanted to come back to her but i needed time to prepare for our future. staying in that kind of state where growth is needed for us, i had to sacrifice our time being together. i wanted her to chase her dreams and focus on herself while we're away. but then i didnt know that as we grew apart, i never realized that she could fall for someone else. i got promoted at work and decided to get back to her but then i was too late. she doesn't want to wait for me anymore. today, as i listen to this song, i think about her. everyday, i never forgot about our best times. eversince we broke up, i am afraid by just thinking that she already forgot about me. she had moved on with her life with someone who's not me, everybody moved on.. but im still here.. and my heart is in pain everytime i see her in my dream.. i never really got over her. she's also getting married tomorrow. and as i type this, i am somewhere reliving our memories. i just hope i can be free from regrets of letting her go. from regrets that i didn't take better care of her. but i wish her happiness. if ever she's reading this comment under this song, i hope she knows that i still love her. i hope he's doing the best that i should've done. i know that i never have been a better man, and i know too that he's a better man than me. and for that, i can still atleast be at peace knowing that she's happy.. that she'll never cry ever again the way she did when she's with me. congratulations on your wedding, Tri, and best wishes.
