It depends on my project but I use the deep pour and 1:1 from The Epoxy Resin Store the most.

I actually use a sharpie also. I find sometimes the silicone is a little greasy feeling. Take a bit of isopropanol alcohol on outside spot I'll to write on helps stick better

It did sink or settle, because of the thin layer it was in it basically settles just below the surface. I think this is why the color shift is much more reserved vs painted on the outside. The layer of resin over the mica removed the reflection/refraction effect of the light so you don't see the color shift. If you check out the video on the Easy Kid Friendly Resin Keepsake a similar effect happens with the glass. Yes a pressure pot would shrink the bubbles so they wouldn't be seen.its on my list to buy but will be a large investment.

@@resintogether7625 I did the Harbor Freight spray paint conversion,less than $100, and it works great. Like you the purchase of a produced pot is rather expensive, especially for something you don’t use that often.

Not using the deep pour resin it cures much slower so not much heat. If you used a shallow or coating resin and poured it this deep you would almost certainly have a flash cure and much heat generated. 200 degrees or more potentially.

What do you do with the extra colored resins?

No I don't on these. Some of the deeper pour ones like serving boards and things I do.
