I love Choco Musk. I do use lotion on my skin before I apply. It smells like a hot chocolate packet when you first open it, slightly powdery. Try Nebras by Lattafa. It’s my go to scent, very affordable. Spray it a few times to open it up to oxygen, then let it sit for 2 weeks and enjoy. Hands down my biggest compliment getter.

What’s your take on the original sauvage vs the elixir?
Though similar, the elixir definitely has a stronger projection but I don’t think that makes it last any longer than the original EDP which I prefer. If you like more intensity, then the elixir it is. Both have great sillage 👌🏾
