I read the book and while I enjoyed the writing I hated how the boyfriend element played out and I could not stand the King and how that played out but most importantly I did not like how the author insinuated that whether someone was a fairy, gnome, human giant or witch that they were all good. That line felt wrong because there was no witch in the story so I wondered why the author put that in there. Morally between the cheating and the fact that the King never loved the Esther character or grew to love her as it states in scripture was just a no this book could have been wonderful but it was more dark than anything and did not point to Christ simply because it was soo confusing and just left me confused more than anything. It's not the writing is that I think the author was trying to please too many audiences with this book and missed it in a major way. Maybe if it was not linked with the story of Esther it could have been better and the author would have had more liberty to put all the elements in that it seems she wanted to put it.
