Gravity has all matter be pulled directly towards the center of the Earths mass, aka the core. I agree that a hollow earth could possibly work…..if it could be formed. But there’s no way. When the earth was formed it was basically a giant rock. If all the matter was pulled towards the middle, there’s nothing to be hollow. And side note, pretty sure earth would be stupid cold if the core wasn’t melted rock but I’m not as sure about that

@RealComixx, the temperature on the planet by which I mean the temperature of its surface is conditioned by the distance to the Sun not by the temperature of the Earth's core.

@@Space_and_Polar I thought it was a mix of both. The sun does most of it but I’m pretty sure if the earths core was hollow it would be noticeably colder here

Generally speaking you are correct but the fhe flux of heat through the surface of the solid earth is less than ~0.5 W/m2, whereas the Sun heats the surface of the earth at an average rate of ~200 W/m2 (which varies with latitude). So the heat coming from the centre of the earth isn't a big factor for the surface temperature of the land. But yes it is one of a the contributing factors.

It's on Kola peninsula near the Norwegian-Russian border. You are a bit mistaken, the subsoil of the peninsula still contains many useful minerals especially iron ore. This Kola Superdeep Borehole was a research drilling rig, not an industrial one. It was closed in 1992 when geological research faced significant budget cuts.

Зайтиде в elibrary, google scholar или sci-hub, там огромное количество научной информации по любой тематике. Разделы введение и результаты, я думаю, вполне можно будет понять и может даже воспринять.

@maxioviedo9567, my vision of this aircraft comes from the fact that it is a relic of that period. I mean that war and its shall I say environment. That is a museum piece. If I saw there a Harrier from the perioud of the Falkland war I would be equally amazed) You are utterly correct about Pucaras poor performance during the war. The britts in the capacity of two carrier based airwings outgunned the whole Argentine airforce armed with supersonic Mirages. But years have passed and this war became a page of history and from my point of view any particle of this war's history either a piece of soldier gear or an aircraft can be considered great at least of the sence of importance of this war and the underrepresentation of it in the modern culture.
