Yeah I'm not a colleen hoover fan. The only books I liked was the slammed series and it ends with us series and verity. Everything else was not good

I’m not a book reader lover (like I don’t read all the time) but One book that I find so boring was quarantine love story, I just didn’t find it interesting. I get the whole plot but it just didn’t feel like it was a actual book

I'm in my basic middle age white girl era and at least vaguely enjoyed a couple of Emily Henry books this year (I really got into the vacation one), but Book Lovers was kind of a slog. I agree that the sister relationship was nice, and j kind of liked Charlie's mom, but he was just so blegh.

I completely agree with you about Book Lovers, like it was okay but I don't understand why people keep making it their top pick.

Totally understand your Solitaire rating/thoughts! I personally loved it because Tori is a lot like me at times, but It’s also one of those books you either love or don’t, and wouldn’t really enjoy unless you relate to it

As an avid Hoover hater, it makes me cackle every time one of her books is brought up on this list 😅 I don’t really judge people for liking her, but I don’t understand that being possible either- sometimes it really do be like that. Also, I’m with you on Enemies to Lovers being so difficult to write and get into! Like in theory it’s pretty alright, but it’s so easy for writers to either not make it feel like they were ever real enemies OR make them way too deep into enemies territory for a romance to ever feel plausibly healthy!

Ugly Love is literally my favorite novel of all time. I indeed cried several times reading it, but I really enjoyed it. I truly fell in love with Miles and his relationship with Tate. I can't get how ppl can hate or dislike Ugly Love. How can you even judge that masterpiece !!
