My Senegal parrots name is Max. He’s the same age as me and I love him. We are almost 11 and he has chosen me as the favorite. If anybody hugs me or anything my bird screams and him and my dog don’t get along. I have to keep my bird in his cage which is already big because my dog. When he gets his wings clipped he’ll be able to go on my shoulders and be washed. My bird used to love my grandpa. Played with his nonexistent hair, went in showers with him, and played a lot. My bird and old dog used to be best friends but sadly my old dog Nicky died of heart attack at the age of 11. When I go to college I hope to bring my bird with me and love together. I don’t know what I’d do without my bird. Let’s hope he makes it to atleats 30. The highest in captivity is 50.

I have 3 Senegals. One is 28 and the bane of my life. Funny, loving but she rules the house with a rod of iron. The second is about 25, funny and he is a real character The final one is about 11 and she is the sweetest natured bird I've known. Head scratches would end when one of us dies of old age if she had her way.
