I absolutely LOVE how you stage homes! One thing though, I don’t think all the cushions/pillows need the ‘karate chop’ especially the front ones on the bed when they have a pattern on them as it distorts it. Just my opinion and Tate, but you guys are the professionals! If I lived in Brisbane I would 100% use your fantastic services, but am in Darwin. ❤

Hi, great video. I am painting and selling a rural home in a remote town in Victoria. It has a country look outside, tin roof and veranda, but inside has very high ceilings and art deco ceiling roses in the lounge and main bedroom, and art deco ceiling cornices as well. I think it’s all original 1930s or 40s era home. I have no idea how to style it. Any suggestions? There is already a black leather L shaped couch with rounded ends, and charcoal carpets in lounge and bedrooms and a mix of original boards and vinyl flooring in pale grey from the previous owners. I am only styling the lounge, dining and main bedroom, and am thinking light and neutral colours, with some neutral off white, light warm greys and some accents in the colours from the stone fireplace- sandstone, grey blue and the trending brown we are seeing in leather furniture pieces. There is already brown leather look retro chairs and a retro table in the dining area. I am thinking contemporary furniture with a nod to the art deco in the coffee table and some accessories like throws, mirrors etc. and some of the accents in throw pillows and throw rugs etc.
