    You should have a lot of seeds for next season, well done. The garden has done well considering you have been on holidays. Tomatoes look great!! looking forward to seeing all the varieties when they fruit.

    The leaves you showed seemed mostly damaged by citrus lead miner tho? (The squiggly lines on the leaves are from the larvae burrowing through the leaf.

    Thanks Nathan, great video. It's very refreshing to see 'real' gardening and the ups and downs that come with it. You're right, having the time to harvest can be a challenge, I found dedicating 10 mins each morning to harvesting very helpful and it is part of my morning routine.

    I use a Fly Spray (ATLAS) from Aldi ! Flying Insect Spray ! It kills the Bugs , kills Wasps too ! The dead. Bugs fall to the Ground and I rake them up afterwards ! Not sure if it actually kills the Eggs too but I have had success ! How do you vacuum a Tree that is very big and you cannot get to all of the Branches ? How would Soapy Water go with some Bleach mixed in , or no Bleach ? Would the Bleach affect the Tree ? Would the Soapy Water kill the Bugs ? I suppose one can only find out if one tries ?

    The water is moving from the top Mr Stacky pot through coco coir to all the other pots. Did the bottom pot get enough water? Did the Coco Coir block up any of the holes in the pots as the water moved through the system? Does the Resevoir get any coco coir in it from the water moving through the system?

    Privet is an invasive weed, is banned from being sold in nursery's in parts of Australia and should never be planted in Australian gardens.

    • @aussiegreenthumb-AGT
      @aussiegreenthumb-AGT 2 месяца назад

      Thank you for your comment! You’re absolutely right that privet can become invasive if left unmanaged. However, when used as a hedge, it's important to keep it well-maintained, regularly trimmed, and under control to prevent any risk of spreading. With proper care, privet can be a great choice for a dense, fast-growing hedge without becoming a problem in the garden. Always good to consider local restrictions, though, and check what’s appropriate for your area.

    Nathan - no need to plant seedlings into the four pods. Just put them straight in the air garden! Coir pods are for starting seedlings from seeds.

    Do you rotate it for sunlight? Or just plant on one side?

    • @aussiegreenthumb-AGT
      @aussiegreenthumb-AGT 4 месяца назад

      Great question! Yes, it's best to rotate the Airgarden to ensure all plants get enough sunlight. This helps them grow evenly, especially if the light is stronger on one side. Even a few rotations a week can make a big difference. Thanks for asking!

    The claims these companies make about these towers are as ridiculous as the price they want for them. For around $250 US, you can have 3 x 35 site genuine aeroponic towers that actually use mist.
