When I was picking out shades they had some brown as can be examples and I said who gets new teeth and picks those shades? Lol. They didn’t believe me when I said how nice my teeth were before and I showed pics and said I want my original shade back.

In your comments sadly you lost what made your review good, you gain sympathy and support of your channel by admission of lack of money due to loss of dental insurance, then your almost nonchalant attitude in a the comments kind of makes me dislike you. Must be nice if you had that kind of issue to suddenly become financially stable and have a surplus for professional relining at the same line as replacement or new set?! Still doesn’t feel like real teeth I feel like, not sure but heard the bottom denture is worse to deal with? Is this true and might you defend your boneless issues, what’s that look like knowing the word and definition but what or how do you describe the look associated with bone loss. Thanks

I got my teeth pulled out it's been more than 10 years and the dentist that pulled them out would not align them or anything and it's been past 10 years I have hard time eating I choked on things I can't get any help with anybody to help and now that I go to the dentist I mean they tell me that I don't have no bone rupture in the back for my teeth to suction and I can't get no help for anybody to help me with plan for the implants I wish somebody could help me out because I don't even go anywhere I just stay home I feel like 😢 It has gotten to where I don't even go to my kids parties or anything I just don't feel good at all and it's been past 10 years and there's no way I can get any help for anybody to help me I don't qualify for the help I wish it would be somebody out there that

My dentures gag me. I'm day 3 into the process. I'm using adhesive on the roof of my mouth part. I don't get the bottom till the 19th of August. Gagging on the Dentures is a struggle. I haven't even tried eating with them.

I use adhesive but still have food getting under my bottom plate, very uncomfortable and still have trouble chewing non soft food.

Thank You for this video. I'm on day three of having my dentures. I still CAN'T get them to stay in. I've tried different adhesives (Poligrip adhesive and poligrip strips) and unfortunately none are working. I've put them in and held them for about five minutes. They keep popping out, no matter what. My dentist did say I might not being able to be able to wear them. I have a small palette and barely any bone on the bottom. He said it could take up to six months to get used to.He did suggest dental implants. Their is no way I can afford $50,000 for a full set of implants.

I had all my teeth pulled but they didn’t put my dentures in like they said they would. They said I was too swollen well that wasn’t true they were already too big before the swelling came down! They gave me my temporary dentures in a bag. I’ve been back twice but they supposedly tried to put them in but there wasn’t much effort. They are still way too big. This last time I went in, my stitches on the bottom haven’t dissolved and so they want to wait two more weeks. It’s already been 3 weeks. My self esteem is on the floor.

Thank you...I got Top Dentures today...I had 4 tooth bridges in the back, so extractions were only 8 teeth...I feel pretty good. I used Chinese herb oil & hemp root balm that took the swelling away within 4 hours. I'm not going back tomorrow...I am waiting 6 days (on the 15th) because I don't think getting a soft liner is right on day 2 (when you still have bleeding holes in your mouth trying to heal). Of course, if I have any problems I will call him. I appreciate your support. Great video!

This was a really positive video and just what I needed tonight. I had my extractions 2 weeks ago and was only given the upper denture. I get the bottom tomorrow after the stitches come out. I tried putting the upper in and it fell off. The dentist didn’t say anything about adhesive so I’ve just gone without for this week. I am nervous about tomorrow. It made me feel better when you talked about the emotional part. I really went through a rough patch last week. I will definitely give myself a break and understand it will be a process. Thank you!

Inn my opinion you got the. Wrong size teeth . I think you need bigger dentures especially the lower denture.

It is not that I'm vain but the world is vain if you don't look right you can not get friends of jobs or anything really. My teeth have been bad about 7 yrs. I am afraid of the dentist I finally went in and had them pulled on Thursday. They are not good Western Dental horrible people. They never did my impression they asked over and over again if it was done I said no but they ignored me. They promised temps the same day nope nothing for me. They wanted me to do bone graph because my structure is bad over 500 a tooth no I can not afford it. I am screwed now. I am 47 I look 80 so sad really.

I find it so sad.. when a Man can go to the Moon n back YET no one has discovered a way to keep these darn lowers in our mouth without using a bucket of nasty glue, I had 3 implants n have lost 2, the one I still have is virtually useless as well.. argg

Don't get fillers get your denture bulked up they can refine them to fill your face back out. I'm about to get dentures and already have sagging lips because of my teeth one of my main goals is having that area filled back out with the gums and teeth on the denture

Marie: Not only is your smile beautiful, bit your manner is very beautiful! I came expecting lots of examples of what to do etc (I am 2days into this adventure) and somehow I come out feeling so good! I am learning to love health care worker.! Besides my mouth situation I am also dealing with cancer and have spent quite a bit of time, recently, in the company of health care workers, and they have been angels with great humor! Thank you Marie Elena, I had most of my teeth extracted three days ago and have had dentures made for immediate fit. Though I realise it’s just one of life’s things, I’m lamenting the fact that, as a very young 60 yo, I no longer have a mouth full of my own teeth. Your words have helped me a lot in dealing with my esteem issues, and much of your other advice has been very helpful also. New subscriber. So happy I found your channel and this community. I had what was left of my top teeth pulled 9/2021, no dentures because I wanted to heal and wearing masks made that easy. Had 10 bottom teeth at the time. Fast forward still no dentures had 6 bottom teeth pulled 1/2024. I just got my top dentures and bottom partials 5/22/24. I'm taking your advice on the tongue twisters. I love my smile but hate slurring my words. Any other advice would be appreciated !! I'm going to be binge watching all your videos and reading the comments . I want to Thank everyone for sharing your experiences and knowledge.

If you don't like having dentures remember this.......I read that George Washington had dentures made of wood.......and held them in with pine gum. I'm sure that was so fun!

Thank you so so much for all this information!!! I have a really important question I hope you an answer for me as soon. As possible, I wish I had seen this earlier in the day..... I'm day one post upper teeth being pulled!! They put in a temporary denture that I have to wear for the next 8 weeks before I get my permanent set....They told me to wear the temp night one which was last night & that on the 2nd night (right now) that I should NOT sleep with them in!! But I am so afraid that my bone structure will get messed up!!! Please tell me what you think??? I need help....

I seen where someone posted they just got lowers or uppers last Friday I got both tops and bottoms and they are still driving me crazy but people keep telling me it gets better

Thank you so much for the courage to make these videos. I’m 37 and am on my second week of full top dentures. The dentist pulled my top teeth out and I got my denture that same day. I feel so defeated. These things are miserable. No matter what I do I can’t keep them in correctly. They slip and end up crooked when I talk, drink something and when I smoke a cigarette. So I don’t even try to eat real food just pudding and little Mac and cheese noodles that I can just swallow. I don’t regret having my bad teeth taken out cuz of the pain and infections but I regret getting dentures. I apologize for such along comment but just wanted to share my experience so far.
