    I really like these videos since they deal with the things that are not being said in trainings and which make the most difference. Technique is pointless if you don't have a sense of rhythm in the game, or make sure you are back in position, you simply don't get the time to apply that fancy technique. What I try to do now is to mentally say 'hit' to myself when the opponent hits the ball and then I move. I hope that, just like Pavlov's dog, I start to move in time just when the opponent hits the ball, without me needing to 'say' that to myself. So, it would be nice for you to explain what you do INSTEAD of looking at the beauty of the shot. How do you clear your mind? Travelling to Hawai between shots can become expensive 😊

      Btw, I love your other video of moving to the ball. It's funny because I came to that same insight a week before, although I reduced it to: "just hit the bloody ball"

    I'm 47 . Played in kid and go back in covid 4 years ago. I'm intermediate player in my club. I'm fairly good at rallyes even " relaxed" fighting for the point. But receives my kryptonite. thank you for your videos.

    Coach you always rile me in like a fish with your “most important video you need” titles . But good content coach . I have been sucessfully using your strategy to be back in position after making a shot . Thank you good sir 🎉

    i love that you are trying to help new players how to attack a backspin ball but this is only going to help them for a short time so you should just learn them how to topspin it from going from your hips with your racket to your shoulder/forehead in a upwords motion and when its a heavy backspin that you are trying to open try and use your legs as a boost because if you do it like that you will create way more topspin and speed in the ball and make it a lot harder for your oppoment to return it and then you can start attacking while if you do it like this the chance that you will get a smash back at you is way higher, but still just like i said i love that you are teaching and i hope that you will keep making video's like this that help new people play the game

    Good Morning Mr. Takkyu, I've been watching your videos for a while now and taking what you explain in your videos to the table and putting it to good use. I have improved my game by leaps and bounds. A lot of time I can search RUclips and find a video showing exactly what you talked about in you videos. So I would like to say THANKS and keep them coming!!!! "Some time we have to work with what we have" Have a great day, Mike.

    Let me be honest here: There's too much talk (100%) and too few practical examples (0%) in your videos. Talk is OK, but once in a while I would really prefer _seeing_ what you are talking about.

    Absolutely right, if you don’t practice and do it at the same time, it’s difficult to build rhythm in a point during real matches. You might get one big attack off but then off balance or late to react… can work against beginner to intermediate players but vs advanced players you’ll quickly encounter a roadblock. Good video

    Also use weighted belt, wrist and ankle weights for low intensity practice using slower movements so as to not cause injury.

    Speed glue is illegal in modern TT. In 2008, the ITTF banned speed glues that contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

  • @FrenchyCamp
    @FrenchyCamp 25 дней назад

    Please do NOT use speed glue, it's not the 80's anymore! There's a reason speed blue was banned and it's 100% illegal to use in any tournament. The dumb bell training makes sense to strengthen your arms muscles but the power in your forehand and backhand loops comes from the legs and the hips rotation, not so much from the arms.

    Use 2X speed. It's very understandable and he keeps repeating himself anyway.
