I'm a fella and I'm in the middle of a 100% TCA cross at home. I've got medium rolling acne scarring and I' tried everything from laser to needling, peels etc. Nothing works however this TCA method I'm trying IS working using a cocktail stick and targeting the recessed areas. I'm 2 months in and my skin is levelling out with new skin and collagen growth. Using Retin-A and ascorbic acid. It's been worth the wait. Don't waste your time on superficial rubbish like microdermabrasion and light peels since they cannot possibly affect the deeper areas. Good luck Liz.

Girl you scars are mostly deep box scars. They need a systemic treatment like filler, laser, micro needling and acid

So what happened to micro needling ang tca? You did only one session and think everything will work in one session?

With TCA peel, you won’t see immediate results, typically it can take out to 6 months for your skin to produce collagen and fill in those scars. For pitted scars, 100% tca peel works best and ofcourse get this done by a professional.

Thanks for the filming of your daily progress. Very useful Liz. I'm a man using 100% TCA (like many surgeons recommend) as lower concentrations just don't penetrate deeply enough . I have rolling scars with slight pitting. I've seen much better results with the higher concentration but I know you have to be patient for the new collagen to form. NEVER pick the scabs !!!
