I was at the show on Saturday. It was great. It was also great to sit here in my recliner. In my air-conditioned, living room to watch It again. 😂😂😂😂😂 Has always, a great job.

This is a very helpful vodeo, thanks so much. You did not included a link to the products. Can you tell me where to get this system?
They’re sold under the trade name Trique Manufacturing, or Altman Easy Latch. Any hot rod, or street rod supply will have them. I think they’re available through Summit, too.
That tank can hold about 13 gallons of fuel, or about 82 pounds. Don't know how much the tank weight add - leather hold-down straps may need frequent inspection. All looking good. Be safe. Love the "every mechanic's band-aid." 🙂
That was about what I calculated as well. That was partly the reason I cradled it between the frame rails. It can’t slide from side to side that way. I may even make some tabs to bolt it to the frame, and forgo the straps.

I’ve been rehashing this, debating with myself the past few days. If I keep those tall tires, I’m absolutely gonna have to change the rear end gears. I could step down a little on the rear tire, run steelies, and save the wires for my ‘34. We’ll see.

The BLT proportion look just right. Have you ever mentioned the wheel base of the BLT?
@@90FF1, I don’t think I have. It’s a scant 94.5” It may be a little squirrelly to drive, but should be fun.
What a great slow paced video. Too many just gallop to get the most in they can. I generally watch those a a slow playback. 🥺 ❤the BLT. Novel suspension and the use of a small engine makes it refreshingly different. Thanks for sharing your story.
