this doesn't come from my intelligence, it comes from experience (paired with my intelligence so it's not all exclusive of me) of different people together I learn about, do it myself.... you really should upload skate videos on 2k quality.... really but okay that's up to you.... I would say Skateboarding, (at least after a year or so getting into it), it's basically 90% mentally and 10% physical. Trusting yourself in your Skateboarding takes ALOT - and basically when you start doing that you wont think about "how" you do your tricks.

quick update: after actually skating the SPF myself, and a whole bunch of F4's too, I can say they are actually very different in how they feel. the spf are jarring on street, as expected, but great for slick surfaces, since they have surprisingly much grip. they do slide, but only really on smooth ground and not nearly as much as any of the F4's. the F4 slide very easily while feeling softer and more forgiving on rough ground, absorbing more vibrations. so contrary to what I said before, the size isnt the largest factor, its the formula itself. I learned this especially from my dragon formula wheels, which are down to 44mm now and still feel alot smoother on any street, than my 54mm F4's 99A, so thats something I didnt expect.

I feel like its even harder when you are not that good, i just started and if i was atleast decent, like kick flip level, i think i would be more confident

I did most of my skating in the mid to late 90s so I was very accustomed to wearing thicker style skate shoes back in the day. I don't skate anymore but I prefer to wear skate shoes for just walking around so I've got a pair of es, emerica, c1rca, and etnies shoes

I saw a flatspot in the Bones wheel as you were saying there is no sign of flat spots in the wheel lol

Good video. I started out with bulky shoes, held on for a decade, then went slim when creative skating met creative spots or ways of skating. Mostly boardfeel. I’m old now and wanna learn old basic tricks and I’ve circled back to chunky shoes

Visited this place today... Not been on a board for almost 20 years... Starting to get back into it.... Wish I had this when I was 15 😂

I cant really relate to skating with a bunch of friends (im just getting back to it and i have 1 or 2 friends that have joined) but in other activities in life, ive always have had a good group of friends. But as I got older, the circle of friends started to dwindle down and you start to learn who the real and true friends are. I also started to appreciate the time spent doing what you love alone and with less distractions.
