Back to spreading it around again. Good job, stay safe. Fred.
Yup back in action!! Thanks!
The Chinese make these and other various compact industrial machines in an attempt to fool and rip off Americans on sites like Alibaba and Aliexpress. They sell these as "wholesale" for a lot more money. Anywhere from just over triple what you paid to 10x (after shipping and duty). In the last 5 years they've been making a growing movement to sell these at heavy equipment auctions now as well, especially Ritchie Bros. If you paid 2k after all was said and done, you did good, that's about what it's worth, maybe a little more. However since actual real quality name brand machines cost so much money they're able to give an illusion that this is somehow in the same class and a deal of a life time. It works really well for them because we're stupid and gobble it up hook, line, and sinker. I laugh my ass off every time I see some goober bid one of these or a Chinese 1 ton mini X up to like 8k.
That makes a lot of sense. I kinda figured it was something to do with that. Like they have a lot of people hooked on this cheap equipment cause it’s within reach of the average person. I never pay much for thee Chinese equipment I buy because I am buying it to check out, fix up, review and resell. So for me To spend full retail is not financially smart. I do enjoy these cheaply built pieces of equipment just cause they are like toys to me. Especially since I own multiple “name branded” machines to actually make a living with!
@@AbramsExcavating Yes, I buy a lot of the mini excavators when I find them cheap (around 2k) and resell them myself. However, I let all my customers know that these are cheap Chinese machines so don't have high expectations out of them but it's good when I can sell them, make a few fucks and still come in way under the online "wholesale" prices.
Man I love this video. I have about the same setup but I use a tractor instead of an excavator to load with. Going to be setting mine up the same way you have. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching! Yes it works well! I updated the setup with a conveyor to stack the wood in my bin. Makes it 100x better yet. I’m at a point now where I might just power the processor off a diesel engine/hydro pump instead of putting the hours on my skid steer just sitting there.
@ what kind of conveyor did you get? I’ve been looking into Timberwolfs . I load my firewood into bags.
@ I bought a used Timberwolf conveyor. It’s in my dirt screen video if you wanna check it out. It works good, I run it off a kubota diesel power pack instead of the Honda gas motor it has mounted on it.
Good work i love my b6000e super handy little tractor i find myself using it alot
Thanks! Oh yea! This one’s a 7100 I bought it off my neighbor for $600. His dad bought it brand new so it’s always been on my farm since new. Kinda neat!
It’s a useful little spreader now . I wouldn’t want to do a hundred acres with it. But just fine for a small job . Thanks
Sure is a useful little one. My future mother in law has horses and just piles manure right now. With this she can spread it in the back field instead of
@@AbramsExcavating I'm for anything to make the work./ Life easier .
how long will it take to move a pile of rocks ?
Depends how big the pile is
Nice little stand on skiddy!
Thanks it’s a handy little guy!
Harris grew up in a middle class family with 2 parents with a PHD from Berkeley ...............LMAO
That didn’t get her too far haha
Don't worry guys pretty soon everyone will be making Chinese non-union wages and these things will be built here. What's that they always say oh yeah your next. Everyone say five dollar nod and smile.
You’re a little far fetched on that assumption. But thanks for watching!
Looks Great !!! Nice Job
Thank you!
Get one with a hydraulic thumb!!
It would probably break in all honesty. The thumb on these machines is absolutely junk
Where do you take old concrete like that?
Generally you can take it to a recycling yard that’ll crush it and make RCA. In this case the homeowner wanted to keep it as low budget as possible so we just buried it in the deepest part of the pool and covered it over.
2:25 I love how the doggo is playing catch on his own... He's so ready for the ball to shoot out...
Yup for sure. If I didn’t have that ball chucker she would drive me nuts!!!
Looks like a homeowner who bought a foreclosure. Nice work.
@@jasondunlap4942 if i remember correctly that’s what it was. They bought it cash and had to remove it to get insured.
looks alot better with that old pool gone. a nice easy job for you. Thanks
Definitely! That pool was in rough shape! It was actually the first paying job for my Volvo 140 nice and easy!
Love my steel wrist I also got the five finger grapple
Such a very useful tool! The 5 finger grab isn’t the greatest but it does the job!

You are a very impressive H.E.O. Great job, Brother !!!
Thank you!
That machine made quick work of that looks good.
Sure did! Thanks!
My only concern is parts support
Your concern is valid. There is no support for these Chinese machines. That being said most parts are easily fabricated or repaired. Other parts are generally available on amazon or at a lawn and garden shop
ii want to see one dig. Aint found one yet
You haven’t looked very far! I have a video of this one digging on my channel “Testing the Chinese mini excavator”
If you don't mind answering but curious what you sold it for? see rock drills pop up fairly cheap at auctions in decent shape and see the crazy prices listed for sale as but wonder whats more reasonable to get out of it
So I did not know a whole lot about this machine. I did some research and I listed it at $30,000 I had a few hits at $20,000 but ultimately I got tired of it being in my yard and someone bought it for $12,500. Which was more than double my investment. Rock drills aren’t something that a lot of people need so it’s kinda a small market
@@AbramsExcavating thanks for getting back to me, yeah small market almost one of those things to get max profit from would be playing the long game waiting for the person, but yeah at least you over doubled your investment
Yep! I knew at my investment price I wasn’t gonna lose, it had an 8.3 cummins in it and weighed roughly 35,000lbs. I could have scrapped it and basically broke even.
It has Briggs & Stratton , so most important part is good, everything else are some pipes , metal.
Yep the motor is solid so the rest is repairable!
What the dog doin ? :D is he still there in your shop staring at the ball ?
Legend has it she’s still chasing that ball to this day!! But in all seriousness she literally is. Oh and I had to rebuild the switch in the ball thrower this morning cause she wore it out!!!
That looks more like a Cheech and Chong than a Briggs & Stratton.
Yea Ching Chang powered Briggs clone
I used to like the idea of one of these for smaller jobs Then I looked more in depth at a Mecalac. Much better and way more versatile.
The mecalac machines are much bigger and yes I agree. They would suit an excavation contractor much better than this. They are more of an excavator that can do skid steer things. However I’ve run them, and I don’t think I’d ever buy one. I don’t see enough benefit in one for my business. Especially since most of my excavators have tilt rotators
@ well they do offer 6-8-10 to. Models. And yea for some things skid steers will still win over in some jobs. But the beauty part about a Mecalac is less wear and tear on your under carriage. Less twisting and turning. When the Mecalac can just rotate around. Each machine is always going to have its plus and minus.
@ that’s true about the less wear and tear on the undercarriage. I just feel like they still are not as productive as a skid steer excavator combo.
Am looking for something around the house. To move stuff and do some dirt and stone work for driveway and a pad for pole barn. These are in my price range, along with older (90s)compact tractor with loaders. In your opinion, what would you do? I like how everything is new on these. And i can do basically anything myself. Just dont want to be replacing hoses or seals every other use eith thenolder tractors.
That’s a tough call, honestly the older compact tractors are probably a more durable option. These Chinese machines are not built very well. They will get you by for random odd jobs and such but to actually do work and dig or level I don’t think it would hold up. At least with an older compact tractor You’ll have a diesel engine and something to work with if it breaks. They were designed to be repaired. Not just pushed out the door like the Chinese stuff
@AbramsExcavating makes sense, kinda what I am now leaning to after watching a couple videos on the loaders. Thank you!
@ no problem! Good luck with your future projects!
I've seen similar rock drills with company in the UK
I guess stuff on that side of the pond is pretty similar then!
1st time watching from the UK obviously I was an excavator driver. I like the little JCB first time I've ever seen one. I know it's not on this video but the yanmar is really good as well
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! Yes the little Jcb is a neat machine. The yanmar was pretty sweet too!
Здравствуйте, много хорошей и интересной техники;спасибо за видео, вы много работаете! Дай бог здоровья Вам
Thank you! I like to work, thanks for watching!
Очень сильно понравился маленький JCB хороший
For sure definitely a nice little machine!
AbramsExcavating Только почему Вы один работаете? Где напарник?
It’s easier for me to work alone. I have a lot of expensive equipment. The help that’s available here is not the best. They don’t respect the equipment. I also am not a big company. I normally have enough work to keep myself busy, I farm on the side. And repair equipment too. So I always have something different. It’s hard to find somebody to help you That is able to do all of the jobs required
For farmuse: equip it wih a pole sharpener. Maybe on a bracket in exchange for the bucket. Search "post sharpening machine Giant pencil sharpener" to see whwe I am going with this
That’s an interesting concept!
@@AbramsExcavating Fence posts are expensive and this is an alternative. My uncle had a stationary, used it for many years. I use it now, but it would be convenient to have it on the tractor, so all debris is left in the forest. With the stationary you get a big pile in no time. OSHA have very little to do with this contraption.
@ yea it sounds like it wouldn’t comply with osha standards! Definitely a good way to save money on fence posts.
It would be handy with a roll cage. At lest you can have a roof, work a bit even if it is raining. And to go really overborad, attach a plexi sheet as front window to keep some rain an d wind off.
A good roll cage would be a nice addition. Closing in the cab would be great for snow removal work!
I get not getting a return on money and time spent but it still hurt to see new wood screwed down to rusty metal. Looks pretty good in the end though
Yea the trailer did turn out pretty good. I fully understand the pain of not cleaning up and painting the metal before putting the deck on. It bothered me, however the amount of time to strip the trailer and honestly sandblast it would be the only way to do it. It just wouldn’t make financial sense. I paid $3000 plus tags and tax for the trailer, sold it for $5000 and had about $700 in decking/ screws. I made a little profit, but the trailer i replaced this with was much more.
After showing the pole, you shouldn't really be complaining about the quality of the Chinese product that you paid peanuts for but expected a Caterpillar, just like the rest of us😊 All the things that were loose it's probably assembled in USA by a American, because they come in pieces from China....
Well first off, I never expected a caterpillar nor did I say I expected better. It’s a cheap Chinese machine. I was simply pointing out flaws. However it’s to be expected that if you buy a product it will at least function properly out of the box Second, these are not assembled in the USA. They come in a crate in a shipping container with the only assembly required being the crappy roof. So please don’t act like you know what’s going on unless you have actual facts.
we used those drills for holes for blasting hillsides for railroade in the 70s
That’s interesting to learn! I assumed they had many uses but I know very little about drilling or this type of rig.
Hell of a buy.
For sure!
Be careful with that Yanmar engine. You might only get another 80 or 90 years out of it.
Ain’t that the the truth. They hardly ever die!
anybody see the doggo roll the tennis ball in lol
She’s good at that haha. Always has a ball
Cha Ching. Smokin Deal
Yes that whole auction was a good deal for me!
Where did u find this auction? I’m my area auctions aren’t cheap anymore
This was a small poorly advertised retirement auction for a geothermal company. I think it was just luck that nobody watching the auction wanted the equipment. Cause normally the big auctions here you can’t touch this stuff
Congrats, you scored big time. Amazed that the motor started so easily. The drill rig is a big bonus. Your four legged foreman looks just like ours even down to the ball in the mouth.
Thanks! Yea you could see it in my face I did not expect that to start that smoothly! Marley is a great four legged foreman! Always has a tennis ball!
@@AbramsExcavating Our rescue dog/failed working dog is Tabitha which means Gazelle. That fits. Tall, bounds around a lot.
glad it work out sir. he jumped on it like a june bug. i would have.
Oh yea definitely a deal!
companies use those drill's for cement core drilling retro fit lights on bridges. side walk's.
I’m kinda upset I didn’t go drill a hole with it but at the same point I didn’t know what I was doing with the drill rig and didn’t wanna damage it
I’m guessing about an hours worth of maintenance per hour of actual use type of a machine.
Seems like that was the case while I owned it. It might be a little better now that some stuff has been addressed
Yanmar one of the best brands you can buy.
They definitely make a good diesel Engine!
sad that u couldn't keep the little Yanmar track dumper, wanted to see u rebuild-it.
I’ve got another little Dumper I’ll be rebuilding when I get the time! This yanmar was just an awkward size for me. Too big for small back yards and too small for site work.
Hold on... this has no front brakes at all? Man, that's indcredibly dangrerous, considering it can easily lift a payload that makes the rear axle very light
That is a point I completely overlooked. It’s like having an old 2 wheel drive backhoe or tractor and going down a hill with a full bucket! Sketchy times right there. The only thing I can think of is since it’s full time 4x4 you would have some front brakes through the driveline. However it’s also full open diff sooo it could be ineffective
@@AbramsExcavating That's a very good point, I didn't think of the 4WD. Does it have center differential? I'm assuming it does not, since it pivot steering so it may not need that, and in that case it would brake with the front tires even if the rear ones are off the ground. But even in that case, the braking would only be as effective as the less powerful brake, and you may not notice if one of the brakes is not adjusted properly as it wouln't effect normal operation on flat ground that much. So not as bad as I initially thought, but I wouldn't want to drive that on hilly terrain!
@ yea it still leaves a lot to be desired in the braking department! But honestly the whole machine was built very cheap so I wouldnt put it in any hairy situations just cause who knows what other weak link may be lingering!
Great buy.
For sure!
they seem like it could be a fun project. adapting it to use the skid steer quick attachment system and more weight on the rear end you may have a real usable mini loader / offload forklift
Definitely. It has a ton of potential if you wanna invest the time and money into it!
Wow! What an incredible deal! I’m sure that the yanmar will pay for itself many times over.
Yes I couldn’t believe I won it that cheap. Everything at that auction went way cheap. I got that vertical rock drill for $6000… another smokin deal.
Very cool these are getting popular yanmar makes some of the neatest machines
Yea I’d have to guess this is a 90s machine. I’ve had a few of these over the years. Still have a smaller one that will fit through a 48” gate and haul 2 ton.
