Great vid! I usually model buildings in Revit and then export them to SketchUp or 3dsMax to do this type of detailing for my interior projects. Never realised it would be this simple to do in Revit! I'll give it a try on my next project. Thanks

You only need to draw the extent of a single repeat. You should never need to array something to make a pattern, the pattern tool will do that for you.
Such a wonderful idea! We are an interior design studio but we all come from arhitecture, and Revit helps us so much in doing our technical drawings! Looking forward to more tutorials!

Great stuff! I did the exact same, a bit more complicated though, to suit my needs. Could you be able to make some kind of reporting parameter (i think is what is needed) to get the quantity of linear profile required to make the frame? I got stuck at that. Thank you!

Hi, I am planning to use Revit for ease blueprint drawing I do the modelling, texturing, and rendering in 3ds Max - Vray. Can I export them to Revit, including the texturing?
