For fans of Arch Oboler I recommend his only novel House on Fire, about the spirit of an evil, devil worshipping grandmother...scarier and more creepy than the recent Hereditary. I'm sure the director of Hereditary must have read Oboler's novel and took a great deal of inspiration (as in copying) from it.

Enjoyed the movie although it was very mysterious in part. I’ll rewatch it at another time for the parts I am confused about.😳🤷🏼‍♀️
