I made a comment on this video four years ago when I "finished" my c10 wishing I would have shortened it when I was building it...here I am four years later....just started taking it apart today to shorten it! Re-watching tons of videos to prep for cutting and welding.

All these videos say cut a total of 20 inches. But lmc shows their bed sides at 82 inches and 100 inches. That’s eighteen inches? This confuses me,and I don’t want to screw up. Suggestions?

When I measure out the 23 degrees my angle looks completely different than yours. Mines closer to straight then yours is. And that’s using 2 different angle tools. Any insight?

What about the 68 up bedsides for the guys who want to keep the side marker light? Would the body lines line up ok if the template was moved forward so the side marker light was not removed?
