remove R8 (o ohm jumper resistor) from the vs3 board that supplies audio from the voice snyth chip to the following audio amp on the vs3 board or just unplug the vs3 board
As Doc would say in Back to the future 3 - "“Unbelievable that this little piece of junk could be such a big problem" while holding it up to a magnifying glass. haha Great work Marc!
I really enjoyed this and am glad it showed up on my feed, thanks bro. I'd like to build one of these at some point but I'd like to understand more about the diode's purpose and what kind of output I can expect, like do I need some of those old crystal radio headphones? Also what the purpose of the resistor is. I see you hooked it to an amp but I'd like to try it without powering anything up.
Thanks for the video, I've thought about buliding one for a while now with an arm more like a phonograph, bend wire down and make a point and use a wood or plastic handle above the bend to set it on the coil to try and isolate 1 winding at a time. Hm, think I have everything needed in the shed. *wanders off*
Hi brings back memories of 60 years ago for me when I built many different types of crystal set, you may find you will get better results with a variable cap tuning the coil and a few different taps on the coil for the antenna connection good luck with it and happy listening
@@marcouellet1420 Oh, i guess i was overthinking it lil, i was thinking custom baffle plates or welding lol did you do anything to address the mk25s shorter driveshaft or did you feel that the lower contact area with the mk28 crank was still enough?
I have the same kind but it's silver with the manual booklet with it. It's in VG condition. Needed new batteries at first, got mine second hand. 📻 I have the original Velcro cover that goes over the belt, its black.
I've got 2 of the 2980 wx radios 1st and second generation radios. Both have developed small issues but still work well enough to get out and I use it on 10 meter as well. I will telly this I love the green freq display over the red which mine have. All in all I really do use them as my goto radio among others have too. Coll to seen your model. Thx for the video.
Might try heating mine again next year, Gradually instead of full on. That will hopefully prevent the smoking I experienced this year. Perhaps the full on heat is only for the first time you use it. We’ll see. Good heater.
Great video sir ive just ordered that exact Amp and i have the Stryker Sra 10 magmount and i will be running the president george 2 with them 😎73,s from the UK
I received this kit version(without any electronic) of E010 Sakura airplane from AEORC factory so I weight the overall body parts of the package included all items but excluding the instruction manual, the weight was 38g(grammes).I searched every where to buy likes this UHU por type of glue but unfortunately, the oversees air transportation doesn't support to ship the glue items through the air. Hence I measured the weight of just only one stick of glue gun stick, it was 10g(grammes) so I asked from the factory that will it fine to use the Hot melt glue for reinforce the parts of this airplane so they said that if I used the hot melt glue the aircraft overall flying weight will be increased so as the result, it would be hard to fly, hence use a specified glue for foam. I am using very light weight electronic components like 2g servos, a 1106 brushless motor with prop saver and a 5030 propellers and a 8g of weight ESC, with a ELRS micro receiver and this Byme A flight controller ,I just prefer to build this model to fly on 1s(3.7v) and so far the motor unit can trust 165g in weight when supply 2s power, therefore if I prefer to build this airplane in 1s(3.7v) power and with using the hot melt glue for reinforce the parts , will it fly fine without any issue?

Video looked and sounded great! Great little radio! Signal coming in loud and clear. Solid find! 🎉
Please stop making noises with your saliva. It's disgusting.
Looks Nice by the way what diode did you used for this :) i mean diode number :) :)
Amazon Item Model Number CA-HB-Diode 1N34A Do7 10pcs
I have always used diodes from old busted radios. I know they work , test first, of course.
@@chuckmaddison2924 need to scavange my room then lol
@@marcouellet1420 Gotcha
@ThatSecGuy The local dump and bulk collections are great . I even picked up a 1950 record player from the kerb.
Wow I had never heard of this!
This thing is so much fun

Did it ever fly?
How did you seal the hole that the mark25 leg leaves in the exhaust where it meets the block?

Been trying to find a way to do just this. Thank you.
I am glad you like it
What did your CG turn out to be?
Pretty cool !
Will give delonghi a miss if that happens first time I’ve heard of this
keep an eye on the windows where the leds shine through. Don't be surprised if you find water in it. I did.
Bought one of these 3 months ago, does a great job.
How do I set timer ??
No idea on any more info, but I have the same radio.
Ignorant. Poor review.
What a gourgous looking flying machine !!! Love that color too !!!😉🙃😎 NZ
I have the ts 570d Great radio
Lol that’s my grandpa. He told me to look up this video, as I’m here visiting. Greetings from MO!! ✨
Please tell your grandfather it was so much fun to talk with him. 73S Marc 108 Ontario Canada

Just traded for a Mark 3 golden eagle this past weekend. Got it going and loving it!
Tengo una de ese modelo. Es una joya para los coleccionista. Gracias
mine came with the whip sticking out of the box bent at about a 60 degree angle.
Looks good!

Why is the shift handle tied off to the transom clamp bolt ? Doesn't it stay in neutral ?

Nice radio, I have a couple of Ranger/ Galay units. I hit the thumbs up and other buttons, and am following. 21 Old Radio Night.
ik heb er ook 1 gekocht de SWR is heel laag dus heel goed
Marc nice radio
good radio
I love them, I’ll buy more!
only having a wide and narrow filter is this radios biggest flaw you have hear all the stations nearby
These suck. They barely flicker and the wick doesn't look like a real flame

Remember when Ranger first dropped their RCI2950. Turned that into a Base... That thing could talk!
They make radios all over. Where is this one made ? Thanks.. and good luck with it.
Now that is junk 😂

No updated videos in your feed on this CPI radio. What ended up happening to it? They are fragile radios to re-cap
